Amazon SES? Pay as you go pricing is probably best for you though? Like I would have said MXroute but their sending limits are probably too low for you.

  • dhmodhmo Member

    i said no payasyougo....
I dont like payasyougo for something like that

  • No such thing as unlimited mailing, everything is either set plan or PAYG.

so I am finding affrodable one.

and if it's very cheap and no hidden fee, or over pay
pay-as-you-go is also acceptable for me too,
but I am afraid of someone's abuse(like spam resend verification req) to make too much cost

I would recommend MXroute. They don't offer a monthly subscription however $30 for 3 years works out at just $10/year (less than $1 per month). I have been using them for a few months now and sending mail has been very quick which is nice. The Roundcube page can be a little slow at times but I think that might just be me since I know others also use MXroute.

I'm using Zeptomail for such transactions. They are credit based. Check on it if you want to know more.

They're unlimited. The only limitation is how fast the unlimited number can be sent out.

    well yeah.
I hope i don't get many users to need to send 300 mails per hour :3

  • dhmodhmo Member

Also, If there is VPS offer enough storage, bandwidth, And NO port blocking + sending email allow.
i can do self-hosted, so It's also okay.

so If there are VPS it can send emails and bandwidth and speed is enough, and can install mailcow it can be my choice too.

but managed option is much better for me

That's something you solve on your end via basic rate limiting. An "unlimited" email plan wouldn't solve this either since the provider would most likely ban you temporarily for abuse.
Just look for a regular limited plan, you asking for an unlimited plan spooks providers because it could mean anything from 100 to 1.000.000 emails per day.

  • SES will be the cheapest option, you can set a limit on your servers if you want to RL.

is 500 mails per hour/mailbox is enough?

I using 5$/y email service for personal mail not verification. and it has limit 500emails per hour/mailbox

    what

  • dhmodhmo Member

    Nah just asking your opinion.
is 500emails/per hour/per acc is enough?

  • Amazon SES seems cheap enough. How much email are you sending per month?

  • dhmodhmo Member

    I don't know.
Its depending amount of users, If we don't get users, then its less than even 50
IF we got many active users then it would be over 1000~5000 or much more.

SES should be enough for you.

10,000 emails would cost around only $1, they dont have hourly limits but they have a limit on how much you can send per second.

If you're worried about people exploiting
registration form, implement some sort of captcha and also ratelimiting per IP to further slow these attacks down.

I highly recommend checking out Zeptomail as they are both affordable and reliable. (PAYG)

MXroute has a 300 emails per hour limitation, if I'm not mistaken.

  • dhmodhmo Member

What is Zeptomail? Never heared and no result on google.

ZeptoMail is one of Zoho's flagship products. Zoho, a billion-dollar company, offers a variety of solutions such as email hosting, CRM, etc., akin to Google's services but at a more affordable cost.

    they are not affrodable. :(

if you can't find them affordable, you might have a hard time finding an alternative for transactional emails. Good luck!

    10,000 mails / 300JPY(its like 3$ if 1$==100JPY)

    its 33 emails/1YEN.
I can pay normal email plans from other site( 500emails/hour/mailbox email limit) for less than 300JPY monthly.

so It's not an attractive price for me.

    Sorry
