Yesterday I thought to myself, someone will come and post a good speedtest from Johannesburg. I was wrong, it's Cape Town!

I dunno, I'm getting tired of it perhaps. I am indelicate for sure, not your typical TV anchor.

A lot of things in ZA work better than in Italy, except for Eskom and the police I've heard.

Yeah here you hire your own police, generate your own electricity, and use private companies for everything because its just part of normal life to not have anything provided by the government work. 8hr blackouts every single day for almost a decade is something you won’t even hear us complain about because its just normal life now.

At least I can go to the beautiful beaches and play with penguins when the lights go :-)

    It’s also election year!

    Spectrum 89.95$ / month

    Why not AT&T Fiber?

Not available in all the areas.

Spectrum used to be $30 per month few years back and they slowly kept on increasing the prices.

Calling retention may get the promotional pricing of $59 per month

It seems like fiber from AT&T is available in his area. I recently switched from Comcast to Frontier Fiber as soon as it became available in my area.

I don't pay anything for internet. The housing society includes the lowest tier fiber (100/100).

    Get rekt.

1€ each deducted via Paypal. I mean who would do such a crazy thing as offering to pay per month?

With PayPal the fee for 1€ would be about 40¢ if things haven't changed.

Yeah, it's pretty stupid but it's the only payment option being offered. Just don't ask how my bank statement looks each month with 30 measly 1€ deductions by Paypal...
