@Sululu
@emgh yep..something like that
It would make good sense with a special provider tag for minors, basement providers, and other experimental startups, so you know what you buy.
And with different rules and prices for each provider tag.
Eg.
@xvps
You know that the cheap services usually are those that are used for DDOS and shitty stuff right?
That being said, I like the idea, it was discussed in other treads also.
Or these basement providers should just make it known in all their offer threads. Include photos of the flat or basement where the servers are located. Should also mention the same on their website instead of fooling customers and pretending to be hosting from a proper data center.
To be fair to @FlorinMarian he was very upfront about the location of his DC.
So is Bat Cave King @Calin - wonder if he fed the bats during the holidays
'Was' is the key word here. New members or other people out there will not know about this so it should be publicized on their website.

Yes i m fed the bats with ram DIMMs , HDDs and fiber cables
good boy
I was worried
Small update here
Good for you! 3 days to suffer and you are good to go. How much extra they asked?
Couldn't help, but lol...
You may wanna order a dedicated server from yourself to help with the DDoS.
If this is not free hate, I don't know what is.
Is there any vendor specified or any measurement? (up to 1Tbps or so)
ddos still going on ?? sry too much to read i dont have time ...
Nah, I don't hate you.
I hate what you do, but that's another story.
So you basically let us choose if you have a 1 Kbps anti-ddos solution or up to 1 Tbps...
Look mommy, this guy has AntiDDoS! Can we buy? Can we buy, mommy? Pleeeeaasseeee!!!
Reminds me of the free 2gbps DDoS protection on one of my idlers, it's technically there but nowadays a single person could flood the protection from their home ISP. Difference is that Florin is using the home ISP as an uplink, lmao
You cracked me up 😂
I'm waiting (popcorn ready and all) for his pikachu face when the attack just gets bigger and whatever he implements will simply not be enough.
Whoever is hitting him, is not some free stresser, those usually have small time limits. Someone is hitting him with a paid "stresser" service or a personal botnet...
This, or the ISP fucked up something. I doubt someone would go this way for a small provider.
You should ask him for a LiveCam session from his DVR so you won't miss it.
You might be right.
Every time he switches announcements to RCS / RDS, it takes 1299 in with no packet loss straight through.
Back to Orange and it's 40% packet loss. Either someone's targeting the Orange router IP, or they derped something.
Every time this morning I saw routes re-converge I restarted the MTR. No packet loss in via RCS / RDS.
Few mins later, removed announcement, comes back up with 40% packet loss via Orange.
Maybe we found out why he wasn't interested in fastnetmon or DDoS mitigation solutions, but the MTRs are suspicious.
Your analysis is as correct as possible.
Now the DDoS attack no longer targets our subnets but the port we connect with for the BGP session with Orange.
So the attacker makes sure that we have 0 visibility on what he sends, being Layer2 both our switch and the one from Orange.
irrelevant
But yesterday and today the avoro site cannot be accessed.
Similar problem?
https://avoro.eu/de/ ?
Here all work
Deadpool confirmed
Just chiming in to say you've had some pretty stellar posts in here. I'll always happily take your suggestions/ideas if you run out of other places to give them
Seconded. I don't think any provider wants to see these types of actions more widespread.
So they probably applied a bulk filter for Turkey. I can't access via mobile or home internet
hmm
Had this too!
@xrz I wrote it for Avoro, not Haziro. It also receives ping but nginx returns 403.
