Ok, now i just need one more VPS from @labze and i'm done for the year.

Do i need to put a gif to participate in the PS5 thing? :)

Giving a little bump to my post as it might have slipped in between the gifs

Do i need to put a gif to participate then?

How long does it take to activate the machines tbw?

    Thanks

@HostSlick just like others suggested, keep the PS 5 and add services worth that amount to the pot.

Unless the the winner is from EU, they'll be in for some nasty tax shock. For example, sending to my country would end up costing you $30-$60 in postage alone. Then, the lucky winner would end up paying between $150 - $180 in taxes.

Or imagine someone from Brazil wins. Their taxes would probably end up being closer to $300. They'll remember you for the rest of their life :D

As a Brazilian I can say that I entered the draw but I'm scared of winning hahaha
Import tax costs almost 92% of the value of (product + shipping)
It would be better to send it to a charity or someone in need within Europe than to pay this abusive amount to the government

    Wow that sounds abusive indeed!
In that case it’s better to receive the money and buy it locally. Maximilian can keep the PS5 for himself then, as he was planning to do B)

Exactly! Better just add it to the pot. You'll make 15-20 more people happier than one person winning this. lol

Just put the value of the PS5+ Paypal money request. More winners, happier chicken fans = win-win.

After using the Christmas VPS with 37 euros for a day, I've realized that I actually need more resources. I'm not sure if it's still possible, but I'd like to keep my discount and pay the price difference to upgrade to the 55 euros plan. Is there a chance for this?

  • 5 more days for the PS5 draw. Who's excited. BTW, the hostclick had said, he would share an image of the PS5 in his office. Shared yet?

    You never know.

But from next lottery i take some more time upfront to organize maybe few smaller prizes as well. as @DanSummer or @t0m said. (dont remember exact name, sorry guys).

This one was very spontanous offer, so didnt have much time to think about the prizes.
And between end of black friday and holidays i was a week in NL to work in our datacenter and prepare 2 of our Racks for a delivery of new servers. // dedicated server restock. I came back Just a day before Christmas.

    /irony on
Win Server parts we take out of the Hypervisor you are located on once you won
    /irony off.

Will be waiting for the next sale/giveaway as well. And, yes, right, incorporating smaller prizes alongside the grand prize will help keep people interested for sure. I understand that everything is hectic around the holidays, especially for a web hosting company. Anyways, good luck for the next time. I will be waiting.
