    However, you gave a choice between one backup snapshot with 15GB and 30GB space. I would have loved to get one snapshot for free in the offer!

    15GB space is difficult for many. This is okay and would suit quite most but for others it becomes space-critical. I have no clue why 15GB figure crops up with many offers repeatedly. I think a decent offer of space would be 20GB. But obviously 15GB can be trimmed up with removing unwanted binaries on 15GB space and create a smaller OS environment.

    I have installed Ubuntu 22 with webmin. It needs lot of space. If your offer was 20GB with or without a snapshot, then many would have opted for snapshots, as a few GB above 15GB is helpful. But on the otherside, it would increase the price.

    So overall, I think your offer and the price balance (with 15GB) is impressive and the VPS is good. The IOPS on Yabs mentioned in your initial post matches one I have.

    Thus, it is a very good offer overall, I must say. But I would recommend everyone to get more discount by ordering one year upto three years.

    Yeah this is a special promo with minimal margins, one of the reason to keep space 15 GB is to stop most users from installing Windows on this low end VPS, they can always take higher package that supports Windows, because if the user is not experienced enough they can easily use up a lot of CPU unknowingly and then if CAP the CPU they complain about performance and basically causing customer dissatisfaction

    Offering free snapshot/backup along with disk upgrade to 30G space require more space for backup, we have to even consider that

    So it's like we have to consider a lot of factors when preparing the deal so that it's sustainable in long term

    What I also fail to understand is why most of the VPS hosting providers do not maintain newsletters for their clients giving them a priority. But that is a lot of work too, I know.

    One more question:
    Please inform me, when are you going to offer something similar in Europe, like in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, etc.? I read in your signature that you are going to offer in France and Germany soon.

    We usually send out newsletter for most of the promos, but these promos are exclusively for Forums, no matter what all providers says, but this is a way to get new clients, once you like our services in which we make very little profit but a lot of clients gained here are going to give much more business in future where we actually make some profit

    We do give priority in certain promos to existing clients only

    It's about balancing business, marketing and also supporting loyal clients ... if a business not making profit it can't survive, to make profit we have to grow

    Yes we are launching soon in Paris and Frankfurt ... our IP, ASN are already announced, just waiting for our servers to reach DC ... but over there we are starting with Xeon Gold CPU and NVME Drives, if there is good demand will even launch Ryzen based nodes

    thanks for your feedback, but I would like to give some explanation.

    These numbers of Disk I/O won't really matter in real life usage especially on shared environment, just check what kind of I/O is your VPS actually using, even if it/s 9 Gb/s it won't affect performance of your website or VPN much

    And if you think you can actually use even 1GB/s then that application is probably not suitable for a shared environment

    I'm not saying it won't affect AT ALL, there might some minor improvement in your overall site or application performance but it won't be something noticeable

    We are able to offer these deals as we have already got ROI for these nodes, now to improve the Disk I/O we will need to replace the NVME Disks which will increase our costing and will be passed on to clients

    Also do note the I/O that you are getting right now will remain the same even in future wont' change with time as you are on a node which is almost close to full.

    I totally agree.
    Most people use Windows OS without properly considering the use case.

    your offer of one core dedicated VDS with 4 GB RAM is much better option for users, say using Windows RDP for browsing and general tasks such as programming or running bots or database server or REST API host

    Sorry that won't be possible with these special promos as it becomes difficult to manage these kind of custom offers and doing it for one will get many more requests and will later on during support it can create confusion for support staff as well.
