CPU Usage

CPU cores on KVM VPS are shared among multiple VPSs. If your VPS is consistently maxing out one full core or more and impacting the performance of other client servers sharing the same host node, we may ask you to reduce your usage. Disruptive load may result in a reboot, shutdown, and/or suspension of the VPS regardless of the time lapse involved. 30% Average Usage should be fine. You can burst up to 100% for 10 minutes, every 24 hours.
Resource Usage

Any user may not:

a) Use 100% or more of system resources for longer than 10 minutes.
b) Run any gaming servers such as counter-strike, half-life, battlefield1942, etc
c) Run TOR in any shape
d) Streaming/Live Streaming

Does that mean I can't use my personal Jellyfin installation even with direct play?

I remember that the CPU cannot be occupied 100% for more than 10 minutes.

But in fact it seems that different location nodes have different standards.
In fact, when I compile nginx and mysql in various locations, the cpu usage is relatively high.
However, only at IL and SJC locations, the system shuts down due to continued high occupancy, and has not yet been encountered at other locations.

This also bothers me because when the usage is too high, the VPS is shut down than restarted.

This is why I like GreenCloud. Although their TOS is relatively strict, they will clearly list the specific content and follow the rules they set. And they will not impose excessive penalties for minor violations, just shutting down the VPS ( Of course it would be better if it restarts automatically)

In a certain VPS provider, they announced very strict TOS, but they never implemented it. Even if the usage was high, they would not shut down the VPS. I once asked their customer service about the TOS standards, and they just replied don't be an asshole

But once they notice you, they can use TOS rules at any time to shut down your service without refunding.

Do you mind enlightening me about that area, I am a hobbyist so I never really touched S3 as I see it is much more expensive than a storage VPS or a pcloud LTD in the long term.
So I usually go with storage VPS and 2GB of ram and 1 core is usually enough for direct streaming with no encoding but I am a very light user and it is only for me, so never multiple streams at the same time.

Using cgroups is better than cpulimit.
As an example, run the following as root
