It being easy in theory dosen’t mean that there’s not many mistakes to be made before you can do it well
would be hard for 'satisfied user' to appear legit and trustworthy, given the many shady uses this service is mostly targeting
That’s a matter of perspective.
Is scraping the web or serp shady for example?
If so, Semrush and Ahrefs are very shady, because they’re both massive businesses that require proxies to fundamentally exist.
After reviewing this provider and discussing their services with them we are comfortable with them marketing their services on LowEndTalk.
Thank you so much for your review and verification! We are thrilled to be a part of the LowEndTalk community and are here to provide exceptional proxy services to all members. Should anyone have questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out.
For the sake of the curiosity of this thread can you let us know the process in which someone may apply to be a residential upstream and/or some sort of proof that there is a process for payments or partnership existing? @Proxies
tickets about trial disappear - do you remove them with intention?
can you send trial to pm
like in US (resi or dc) socks5 or http
my company uses around 50tb from luminati and oxylabs
may offload some traffic to your network.
Can someone skim hackforums for quick verification that these services are not advertised there? Just to be on a safe side... Socksescort, 911 socks and various proxies burned me to much
Not really advertisement, just mentions. (twice)
Date back since 2012
@Proxies any comments on being in hackforums?
They're on HackForums? Got a link to their post?
Just seems like they're mentioned which isn't really on them. The website above is a different one, but also 11 years ago
Even luminati were on this forum
Luminati - Residential IP Service in the World, Offering 40+ million IPs Worldwide.
Get Access to 100M+ Oxylabs' Residential Proxy Pool with a 20% Discount Exclusive for BHW
smart proxy also were there (they are resellers of oxylab, same pool) and other resellers of oxy
I think linking to that hack place is not acceptable, I am confused though.
How did this, bypass this in rules? Unless I am misunderstanding, I do that a lot.
In the LET rules
Rules are for peasants.
A number of providers here advertise and are also being recommended on HF, BHW etc.. so nothing new.
Money. Your argument is invalid.
I never argued, I asked if I was misunderstanding.
There's no proof of this being illegal. At least for now.
When one will be available it is too late - Law Enforcement will be already involved.
What's too late? They've been around the block in this specific business for a very long time. Even longer than majority of the providers here.

Longevity of service does not indicate legitimacy or ethics. Here is article about nice proxy selling establishment https://krebsonsecurity.com/2022/06/meet-the-administrators-of-the-rsocks-proxy-botnet/ . There is even photo of employees. What a nice "family".
P.s. https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/137719/lowendtalk-community-rules-updated-april-2023/p1#whitehat
Are you able to prove or provide proof that these are illegitimate or illegal? If you can, I'm sure we can bring this to the attention of the moderators of this forum.
I will do nothing. Just heads up regarding this forum own rules and user awarenes of "residential proxies".
Hi!
Please send me a PM with your account username, we will gladly provide you with test Proxies.
Thank you!
Thank you
Proxies seem to be not hacked. No signs were detected.
Anti-frauds detected all tested proxies
antifraud #1 (DC mean datacenter, if no DC, but IP only, then resi was detected anyway)
antifraud #2 - also detected
cloudflare- bypasses on maximum security, no captchas
antifraud #3 - some were not detected
this one is good
FP is mostly linux (with ability to guess proxy), sometimes windows and macos.
these are good
Overall suitable proxies for some tasks, but pricy imho. Could be cheaper.
What are you using to detect the finger print?
Internal tools.
Tested with other tools
this one good:

Overall, just same provider like stormproxies and others on black hat.
Feels a bit slow.
Suitable for most tasks.
But luminati & oxy resi are better.
here are examples from lum resi network:
