If you don't 'measure it', how do you know that some clients are abusing your FUP?
Please explain again the difference between 'there isn't any set limit' and 'unlimited'.
Apologies for the wait on the giveaway, been busy recently. It'll be rolled later today.
By metered, I'm referring to a set bandwidth limit (i.e. 5TB for example). When we say "unmetered", we are just referring to the fact that there is no exact limit on what you can use.
We do measure bandwidth obviously, but it is not closely monitored. If we see a large increase in usage on the network and it affects other clients we would look into the bandwidth usage on any VMs consuming a large amount of bandwidth and depending on what is being used we would either limit their speed to 100Mbit/s on the fly or we would get in touch and ask if it could be downscaled.
