Thanks Debian team.
Very good. Slowly moving from Ubuntu to Debain and it's a breeze.
I don't know why but especially on Docker on Windows, apt-get update runs PAINFULLY slow on Ubuntu for me (each request taking seconds) but Debian just works.
Also no snap.
Also no netplan.
Tl;dr: Very good.
@Francisco time to get workin'
@seriesn time to get workin' for the family

Waiting on ISO's
Francisco
Two changes that I found and can be annoying firstly
Anyway, it is a first stable release so it might will have problems, I use it high satisfy on a Kimsufi KS-LE-1 since a month installed from debootstrap with disk encrypt.
Mental strong premium provider builds ISO and template from source.
Man is the KS-LE whisperer.
No, my builder does that all, but I make it use ISO's as the base install media just so we have a reliable/predictable template. Once kicked off it takes ~6 minutes a debian template and all its updates.

Released, but still not available for download...

@Francisco ISO's are out
Thanks
Templates should be live in a few minutes, just waiting on 32bit to finish.
Francisco
Actually if you've installed testing, nothing has changed since the last .iso and repo.
(Running Debian 12 for the last month or so on all the dedis and vps, no issue so far. Just keep in mind it's SystemD 252, hence some minor changes + no systemd-resolved by default)
Debian 12 is available at server-factory.com as well
@alwyzon you used to be one of the first last time? Enjoing Champions League tonight so templates tomorrow?
The Debian 12 template was added right after the release yesterday. You should already be able to pick it during checkout when ordering any VPS in Vienna or via „More > Rebuild“ in the client area.

Thanks, we have doubled your red-eyeness
Upgrading my desktop to Debian 12.
Let's see how it goes.
I downloaded and installed from the .iso DVD yesterday, about mid-afternoon local time, a few hours after it became available. The download from one of the official mirrors was slower than usual, but not bad at all. The checksum verified. I installed the desktop in a virtual machine. Not much more to say, really. Nothing special stood out visually, which is almost a Debian philosophy anyway.
whats up with UP speed @Francisco
BuyVM targets customers from oslo and tbilisi.
Finished upgrade a few hours ago, whole process was smooth except for NVIDIA Drivers.
If anyone's using 470xx drivers(which is now legacy in 12, I assume).
This is for 6.x kernels.
Download the driver from nvidia website.
Thx, Debian
Open a ticket and we can look. Could be a optic going bad.

Debian 11 to 12 update link (to save you the Google search)
https://debian.org/releases/bookworm/amd64/release-notes/ch-upgrading.html
Looking at the list of known severe bugs, I think it's worth to wait for 12.1
what does it mean?
@Francisco any news? ticket is on hold since day. specs get worse day by day.
