    The offer IS brutal and quite tempting, but I already have one such from BF2022, actually with a bit better specs. :p

    Yes Cybertech is right.

    Last one on DDR3 also the nodes only had 40 cores. This Is ddr4 with 56 cores per node dual e5 2690v4. Also some other things are performance optimized like the raid card is a different one. More performant.

    I say ok to older Hardware but ddr3 it's now getting seriously too old. From now nothing older then xeon v3/v4 and ddr4.

    I avoid this older now for new servers.

    You can now get ddr3 trash dirt cheap that I was already thinking of getting a bunch for 19-29€ dedicated servers promo

    Yeah, but with 4 E5-2690 v2 cores. Hard to tell if 2 newer cores are match for that, I suspect not. In any case, the multicore performance is about the same as a SINGLE 5950x core. :o

    Still researching and thinking. We have Many additional Racks now I am planning all Kinds of servers.
    I am not racking 32-64 servers for only 2-3 years.

    We actually have double amount of Racks since our move. And some used are not full at 100% still.

    But IF it will be HP C7000 blades. So we can easily swap them out with newer e5v4 and ddr4 without alot of work and unracking anything later. And it will be brutal for the price if so.

    The offer would will be obviously to get more attention for dedi clients in the market. As always, LET is very good to get more attention in the General hosting market. - And fun! This how this deals work out well.
