  • Nice offer

  • I thought €1 / IPv4 (up to 16 IPs) was lifetime too, but time proved me wrong.
Nice offer, but please don't use the word "lifetime", whose actual meaning is OVH can raise price at anytime.

In regard to Rise-LE-1, I've got similar servers from OVH from the BF sale in 2021, albeit w/ 64GB memory (but same cpu and disk size). The disks in the 2021 BF offer are Samsung SSD PM983 960GB.

The following bench monster test is from last year (4/2022 and though still using GB4 at that time), cannot run a benchmark test right now as the server is heavy in production:

You can check the number of IPv4 (and IPv6) here for Kimsufi / soyoustart and RIse range of dedicated servers (also known as ECO servers): https://eco.ovhcloud.com/asia/compare/
For all other OVHcloud dedicated servers: IP address block (up to /24) = 256 IPv4.

Each OVHcloud portal bills in a local currency and the price you pay remains the same every month in the local currency (=predictable pricing = no fluctuation due to FX rates for our customers).
Between the time we have commercialized the server and today, there could be slight variation between portals, but the local price remain the same. Hope this clarifies.

That's why I suggested substituting the word "Lifetime".

Adjusting(Raising) price is acceptable, however exaggerated advertisement has adverse effects.

By the way, the overall experience with OVH is good, I mean above average:
Good SLA, timely and polite ticket support, affordable price.
    I'm very satisfied.

YES, if you say you do, then you have to do it, atleast for existing contracts... BUT they didn't, so I say bye bye and I'm pretty sure a lot of other did same, but they don't care because new customers will come

I want to ask a few questions about the special promotion that's going on. If I buy the "GAME-2" with a six-month commitment of 6 months, will I still get the special promotion discount after the commitment period ends? If not, does this also apply to other regions besides India?

After receiving the first month's invoice, why does it say only applicable for 12 times next to the monthly prices? Means a price increase is occurs after 12 months?

With the exhaustion of ipv4 worldwide, you honestly thought OVH was going to keep providing one-time fee for extra ipv4?

i think they should have left out of new pricing old customers or calculate different scheme for them. i got +200 ipv4 deleted because i was away for some time didn't check news/mails and stuff.
