    There are people who like web hosting offers, too. Although not Netcup's. It was a pita when I couldn't setup my external domain there, because the Nameservers were still pointed to the old host (because I first wanted to migrate everything over by editing my hosts file and only when everything worked update the nameservers to Netcup's). Oh well.. maybe something has changed, though. Netcup servers are awesomey though.

    As a Webdesigner it's great, because I can request 1-click access to my client's hosting dashboard through their agency partner program. That way I don't need any login credentials from my clients, but instead just request them to authorise access for my agency account for the time of our relationship.
    Performance has also been great so far, there are daily backups 30 days included, and 24/7 (tech) hand-holding support from IONOS makes sure I can sleep at night handling all the stuff I don't want to deal with.

    Other than that, I imagine german All Inkl is still as superb as back then. My own sites are with Mike (MyW) and I couldn't complain, all good :)
    Ramnode Shared also never let me down.
    Judging by various reviews and things I hear, Dogado is probably also worth a look.

    I don't think that a lot has changed since you used their web hosting, but it works pretty well relative to how they intend it to work :)

    Fwiw, a forum post from January this year suggests that in order to add an external domain in the ccp from Netcup, it is still required to priorly update your A records to Netcup's IPs. This is the exact issue I encountered with them back then iirc. Any LE host here would let you add any domain to shared hosting via cPanel/DA without checking this. Heck in order process you could probably even add non existent 7dollardebianthx.xyz domain and it wouldn't complain. Way more chill that way since it allows you to first only update your local hosts file to import the website to the new web hosting, ensure everything is working and only then point the A record to netcup/update to their ns.

    Netcup is great for VPS/Rootserver and I also have domains with them now after their special. However, webhosting just still has too many things that don't bode well with me.

    Ja, Nein, Vielleicht. 🙃 That's something I never attempted during my (rather short) time at Netcup webhosting.

    RS2000 with double disk (640 vs 320GB). Only Nürnberg (!?). Little cheaper if you need Nürnberg, little more than RS2000 if you can gamble location :|
    Oh, and 3 months payment period rather than 6 months.

    Personal note: Seems like nothing for me this year and I was waiting like an idiot :joy: - I don't need extra 320GB of disk, I won't even fill the basic 320GB so I could just buy RS2000 without any promo and have it "cheaper". M-E-H
