  • @taff said: Any discount on bandwidth that doesn't leave the data centre?

IIRC, they used to have an internal/private network that you can request to be activated. This will allow you unmetered traffic between VPSs within their DC.

  • I don't see any change at all, everything is not discounted yet. The price was the same before.

I've used you guys for 1.5-2 years with previous penguin offer. For anyone thats interested they've been very prompt & helpful with any support tickets so I would happily recommend. zI don't use all the resources so I want to try hybrid and see if better performance. For the draw:

Order #4837150451 Chameleon Hybrid SSD and storage VPS BF Special

Have a question on Servarica (support is probably too busy currently :-)

    • what type of virtualization do they use ?
    • is it possible to install a custom OS through the use of a custom ISO

    Thanks !

    Xen.

Yes. I think you've to reach out to support to set it up. They're usually very prompt (but of course at this time, they may be a little slow on account of the volume of orders).

  • @donli said: Mouse was too good a price.

Yes, and if you win this giveaway you get it for $12 with ip4 which beats original mouse offer.

  • @servarica_hani said: Opossum 2 is the one that have same specs as old Opossum but with IPv4

the difference is 7$/y between the 2

you can ask to get upgraded but it will take maybe 1 week due to extreme high load these few days on the team

Are there any similar ones offered to old mouse? :D

  • giveaway!

    it is the same plan
just add in the order comment that you want it to be in different pool for redundancy and they will handle it
We usually do that without the user even asking but now for BF it is better to remind the team

We only count traffic leaving the DC (we count at the edge)
so all internal traffic does not go toward your allowed traffic

for VPS a whole /64 will be assigned to you but each individual IPv6 must be allowed manually
you can ask for 20 or even more if you want
We are working actively on making the ipv6 routed which means you get the full /64

For dedicated servers you get the routed /64 which means the full /64 with no restrictions

...which considering the current inflation is an achievement by itself (else prices would have increased by 5 or 10%)

  • Hani, I'm pretty sure this is you.
    Explain that for me.

  • best wishes, hope i win

  • @FrankRuan said: Explain that for me.

You have garbage ISP who blocks their site.

They do not want to take the risk of chargeback (why AliPay was great for HK/CN orders)

Find a friends ISP, mobile ISP, or find another host to sign up.

    This isn't hard.
