Was going to order NVME4G, but again - prices were advertised without a VAT :(

Yes, no idea what came up their mind, absolutely uncommon in EU afaik.

for IPV6 please open a ticket so that we can take a look at your IPv6.

    I found what caused issue.

In case someone experience the same IPv6 issue with the newest Debian installations (older works fine) when adding some IPv6 address via control panel, there's a solution.

Debian template use deprecated ifconfig. Ask them to disable IPv6 autoconfiguration and then use iproute2 (the ip command) instead of ifconfig.

This is how it always has been done with us so and this follow tax regulations, if the price is too high for you i am sorry. Hopefully we will see you in the future with another sale.

  • @LiteServer how about doubling BW for a order number till end of Black Friday? lets make some noise and pump up that thread with such great offer :D

It's uncommon in Germany, but it's not necessarily uncommon elsewhere in the EU

In any case, the opening post says that VAT is added for EU residents

I wonder if you're also on the Node "NL-DRN-KVMHDD-32.liteserver.nl"? the disk IO load of this Node seems heavy now :(

Yep Im on that node also and client panel is super slow. It's my first time buying HDD storage from LiteServer, I am using their VPS service for few years without an issue but yet to see about their HDD servers.

Relax ya'll! I suppose you all know how HDD drives work? They're great for low IO and sequential IO type of usage.
What happens with Black Friday? Massive amounts of VPS orders, and all these people start using their VPSes at the same time. Especially with storage VPSes people start downloading/seeding/rsyncing like crazy, all at the same time. With as result, a huge amount of random read/write IO being fired to our very large HDD HW RAID-10 sets, with performance degradation as result. And when people keep running benchmarks, you add even more IO.
Just relax, and let things settle and think realistic :-). Once Black Friday is over things will smooth out, and you'll see performance on all levels to increase.
This is just something nobody can avoid - it are HDD drives, not SSDs. If you need top notch IO performance, grab a lightning fast NVME plan instead :-)

Thanks of all for all the orders! There is so much interest in our Black Friday offerings that we've already had to expand capacity on our storage platform. Additional hypervisor capacity and roughly 500TB worth of storage capacity have now been added.

Down below is a current YABS benchmark done using a HDD-2G VPS on the hypervisor and storage layers that are currently being used for HDD storage VPS provision. Please keep in mind this is just for reference under normal low/mid-load IO conditions, and performance may vary heavy during around Black Friday.

Yes, no idea what came up their mind, absolutely uncommon in EU afaik.

EU has different VAT rates per country. So if you are in EU country that charges higher or lower tax rate than the displayed price it will still be a problem. I didn't see any provider here that shows prices incl. VAT.

Adult content allowed at LiteServer, as long it's legal and not copyrighted :-)

When you choose the 1-year billing cycle, the 12% discount is included -- do the math if you're not convinced
