thank fuck I have backups, fucking deadpool.
You cant really expect Virmach and HostHatch to be smooth sailing
Keep backups and bleed it until it runs dry, ey?
Still talking my shit.
a tasty drama sandwich?
node FFME004 seems srsly broken
Everything's fucking broken, I'm just the first one with clout around here to open a thread about it.
my VPS' in NY and SJ are fine (even post migration), FFME007 also looking good
network config in total was f'ed up almost everywhere tho
All will be forgotten.
TIL: some virmach services didn't go down and stay down forever last month...
The regulars are at the annual all-year-round VirMach dick sucking festival where they try to gaslight you into thinking it's acceptable because you're paying peanuts (and charge you $15 while they're at it).
Just click on the first VirMach thread you see.
I'm pretty sure a lot of people have had longer downtimes, but here's mine:
Down for me too and not too happy about it either, need to access some files I've been working on over there. So lesson learned I also need to backup while work is ongoing with them. :-\
this is beginner numbers.
my vps is down since the migration, or about 1 week i guess or more
Virmach brings shame to the family.
my vps is down for over 10 days.
To add to that, their SolusVM was borked by a bad Cloudflare configuration for months, so you couldn't install a different OS or reset your password either.
I put my VPS from Virmach and other providers behind a HAProxy and only use Virmach for computation. Database is on another provider. So if all VM VPS are down, my website are not fcked.
Btw, my VM storage vps hasn't even online for 3 months 😆
Virmach down, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death.
dont be so hard on yourself over a virtual machine.
The good times are over.
I hate to say it, but VirMach definitely seem to have fallen from grace over the past year. I have the impression that they were (still are) trying to make too many changes at once rather than gradually, and as a result, when something goes wrong, they're not able to respond quickly. Hopefully, they'll be able to get back on track soon
what a bad experience
Unavailable after migration
I got a new IP
But by accessing it, is an nginx default page
it can't get in touch with me
My status is always offline
VNC is also unable to connect. Please help me fix it #214018
yes i tried to reconfigure the network
and reinstalled IOS. It didn't do anything
Yes, this is how nginx works.
your vps does not seem broken at all
What a joke!
We paid for old E5 processor and slow SATA SSD.
We are getting new Ryzen processor and fast NVMe SSD.
Shouldn't the price increase 2x or more?
Regrettably
I feel like that IP is not under my control at all....
I can't root in and it says wrong password. Even if I reinstall the system and shut down, its page still exists...that's not my IP at all....
Of course, that IP can't be pinged today. It's weird yes
I can't use VNC normally.
Status is always offline
If I reinstall the system and it takes effect, it should not be followed by nginx....
Of course the premise is that the system is reinstalled to take effect...I don't even care if my data is still there...
I feel like it doesn't reinstall the system at all....
my vps still running, but I can't login to SolusVM seems, I'm still on old node.
Of course, everyone likes the prices, but it's undeniable that the transition has been long and rocky (not to mention longer and rockier than most of us and perhaps even @VirMach had expected)
they seem to have lost control of everything
i think it is risky for a company to grow bigger too fast, not only tech related but any company..
apparently this happen to HH and vrmch
