Listen to small and alternative media. All major news are untrustworthy (propaganda machine), but you can heard both side story and draw your own conclusion. For example, listen RT Sputnik talking about Iraq, Lybia wars there will be a lot of trusts in it. Or Listen to CNN, Fox on Russian Oligarch, there will also some trust in it.

He is Russian. He gets his news from the "trustworthy" and "independent" news channels in Russia.
