Need a stable vps provider for my website

Serverless sudah. Ndak usah di bahas lagi. Even kebakaran ndak bikin mati. Kata orang indo, tahan banting.

As long as you use vps / dedicated, there is still a chance your website is down. Whether from disaster, or from your vps not powerful enough / overloaded. Or the provider just fucked up.

With the nature of serverless there is no single point of failure. Well actually there is one. Your money.

I have been trying and tweaking server for years. But eventually, I go serverless. Totally worth it. Especially for your health.

based on other forums, they have 1 Gbps Shared local bandwidth, and 500 Mbps Shared international bandwidth

Not especially talking about disaster at Cyber1 lately, but overall experiences through years, with different providers.

But yeah, we'll see. I believe there is good Indonesian provider that handling things professionally.

Your budget fits perfectly with SM 4.4, support has been great for me, you could scale up or down I believe.. bandwidth is superb even internationally.

I've tried several vps from several providers, and I did my own test, here are the results:

so far, greencloudvps @NDTN gets the highest score, maybe because they use new hardware, Ryzen 9 5950X compared to other providers who are still Ryzen 9 3900X

for highest speed network, Vultr High Frequency is the best options

tools I use:

yabs
speedtest-cli
ram write: sysbench memory --memory-block-size=1M --memory-total-size=10G run
ram read: sysbench memory --memory-block-size=1M --memory-total-size=10G --memory-oper=read run
cpu: sysbench cpu --cpu-max-prime=20000 run

Sorry for being harsh. But truth is sometimes harsh... Unless you are Uber and you have millions of $ for lawyers to fight back when you screw up our credit cards data, you are taking a big risk, bigger than you.

TBH, if I use your payment solution, and my data get hacked (side channel attack) because of noobness and running on VPS, I will make sure to destroy your reputation to the extent that no one will ever want to do business with you. (I do tolerate honest mistakes ofc!)

Solid advice here ^, follow it. Build something else less sensitive for now until you are ready to handle CC data.

If you don't follow the advice, please give us an update when things go sideways.

yes, ryzen kvm on greencloudvps only offers 1gbps port. but it doesn't matter, because I don't need excessive bandwidth. this is only to accommodate my wordpress website

I rented vps from there, unmetered BW but poor performance on international link. Pretty good option for me as I only serve user from Indonesia. Kalau mau benchmarknya PM saja, I have the YABS result.

I dont really need International Bandwidth actually, I curious about power compute, for that price in indonesia looks like steal.

Yes, all data currently stored in AWS (jakarta) only the second/backup website (i mean only the script will be hosted there) will be outside the country
