I went to install my own DA via the DA site and it said the IP is already in use.

I have put in a request to update the details or remove the IP

About average looking at the last few years numbers to be honest, pushing a much smaller product group generally this year, no OpenVZ stuff almost no storage VPS products as everything was pretty much out of stock already.

Do you have a YABS for Phoenix 1G plan?

I have posted yesterday in this very thread
    https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/3310944/#Comment_3310944

  • How does DA handle a simple wordpress site with not many 3rd party plugins on 1GB ram?

Is there enough RAM overhead, DA users?

How's the CPU performance? Where you able to get a GB5 score?

  • @InceptionHosting Just grabbed a 4G box in AMS, is this gonna change on its own when you get around to it, or do I have to take action?

Processor : QEMU Virtual CPU version 2.5+
    AES-NI : ❌ Disabled

Apart from that it's running top notch. :)

I think you would need to add some swap to get the initial install done then remove/disable any services not absolutely required, it would be a bit of a pinch to be honest, the fact that you have DA with only 1 GB would be the biggest impact to your site performance :)

    Better than Racknerd?

I am glad you asked that question.
RackNerd VPS is limited to Linux OS only and therefore I use that VPS in a particular use case. This VPS is running 24x7.

From the screenshot, it should be clear that using Linux desktop OS looks very similar to same setup on Windows OS.

@InceptionHosting could you give a little more details as to what is complimentary ddos protection? Interested in getting 2 of these from you to serve dns.

  • So I got a KVM and installed Windows on it

Just wondering, is this still relevant? Since it takes about Xen, and also the download links don't work anyway
