@pike said: You can just send them a fax, as per german standard procedures. Please refrain from displaying one of the leading world economies as backwards and unflexible.

You are not making them look any better... You do realize you are showing them as "backward and unflexible" just by putting the word "fax" and "german standard procedures" in the same sentence right?

tho I won't really complain, I dealt with contabo, hostslick, Hetzner and maybe few others, they are all german and never had issues with their cancellation, not more than any non-german providers. Tho netcup and php-friends seem to be trickier when it comes to cancellation.

German law is that if you sign a contract online you also have the right to cancel it online.

An email to them should be enough, they can't force you to use their ticket system and no signature is required. They also can't force you to use some shitty form where they ask you a bunch of questions before they accept your cancellation.

    English please.

    Sorry, my bad

I doubt that was the translation of what you said. ;)

I think you should test our product before you give a safe opinion :)

    That's absolutely right.

That's also correct and I wonder why anyone should think we do such shitty things. ^^ All we need for a cancellation is one sentence; no fax (really, please don't do that :D), no forms, and it's also fine to order a product and cancel it immediately to the end of die minimum contract term. Of course you should have the cancellation date in your calendar then as the product will be deleted after the cancellation date.

    Best Regards,
    Tim

  • ^^ Jeez, a German with a sensible approach to a contract! :p :D

  • really solid offer, already migrated my nested Proxmox to it serving some wordpress and reverse proxy. Allready had a larger instance and very positive experience with php-friends so it was a no-brainer except for maybe the longish contract time if you wanna nit-pick ;-)

Can I revoke my intention to resign from the service? I will now say that I will buy the server, I will write immediately that I would like to resign from the next year, but 2 weeks before the end, I will suddenly change my mind and say that I would like to extend the offer further. Is it possible?

I think you are still drunk, netcup is VPS too.
Bare metal server, where the hell you get your info, lol.

  • Is it usual for the provisioning to be over a day (paid it 27 hours ago)?

It seems a bit long, but if you're a new customer, it's still within the realm of possibility (assuming that your payment went through and they're not waiting for something from you).

  • @PHP_Friends any plans to reintroduce this deal again ? Another question, do you guys offer English support ?
