I am guessing I am way to late to get this offer because its simply amazing
@wojons - there are a handful left - email [email protected] or just order using the old link and coupon, they should still work
The cupon code is marked as expried
@wojons - Which coupon?
@wojons I think Xmas2013 is still working
Nah, it's expired
@ironhide @wojons I just tried XMAS2013 and its working fine.
I sent an email so hopefully they get back to me wanted to order a few move a good chunk of my vms and larger projects to a fe bigger machines.
Got the info. Thanks.
I also noticed this offer on the site is out of stock do you know if its comming back into stock soon?
@wojons - I just tried ordering one - there is stock and the coupon works
FYI I am using this link:
https://clients.delimitervps.com/cart.php?a=add&pid=102&carttpl=cart
one last question what is the rpm on the drive
I just ordered two more as well so its definitely working.
Assuming they're all the same, mine is 5,400 rpm (WD blue with 8 mb cache, though that's made up for by the 64 mb on the raid controller).
FYI don't order additional ip's for $2 at the checkout, they're only $1 if you order them by ticket
Just curious, how much does the additional bandwidth cost?
Hardware RAID Controller but just 1 500GB drive??
I would have ordered one if it had 2 drives..
The coupon will discount them by 50% down to $1/mo ($3/quarter) when you go to check out.
Be aware - they are /32 ip addresses which means that the single ip you get when you order the server has to be assigned to an OS that can route (which, best that I can tell means no ESXi)
Ordered last Friday, still waiting for provision. they even don't like to reply my ticket for over 12 hours.
Send a PM to @MarkTurner, see if he can investigate for you.
@joodle - add a second 500GB disk for $10/month
@derekyang - if you ordered Friday then it will come today. Would have been reviewed on Monday, then 3 days provisioning
@Thorrak - you can now order a subnet like /30, /29
I wonder if order several additional new ips, can be used in ESXi? thanks.
If they're provided in the same range, yes. But mine were actually two different ranges, so ESXi, as stated, may not be able to handle it.
I just emailed Steve to try to order a subnet. I'll report back if that succeeds.
perhaps a /29 (5 usable) should be working? waiting your report, thanks
@daxterfellowes - it doesn't matter so long as there is a gateway IP to route back to. /32's do work - you can configure routing on ESXi and Xenserver, but its a lot more difficult to achieve and not for the fainthearted.
Lots of the blade servers come with the raid controller built into the machine. Since the form factor is so custom there are no really after market souloutions
I confirmed this with support. Built in feature in the blade, regardless of the amount of drives.
