Nobody is going to sponsor some 13 y/o boy unless he has some crazy ass website with huge traffic.
I would be surprised if he had a website at all.
I,m wandering what will you do with 1tb space
    @Mickeydarrenlau

  • @AXYZE said: If you really cant work and you want such specs then make something which will make someone sponsor you. Thats a reasonable way.

For example provider can give you such VPS if your site has a lot of views and you can plave their logo on site. They sponsor, they get clients, you have free vps. Everyone is happy.

Someone who seeks out a community of providers that has smaller profit margins than the big players in the industry only to ask for a free VPS isn't worthy of any good advice. To make it worse, he asks for unrealistic specs. He most likely wants to run a couple of Minecraft servers which will be a liability for any provider that doesn't provide DDoS protection.

Perfect. First, I must collect some identifying information from you such as your SSN, a clear picture of your ID, your home address and a blood sample. Then I can get your free server up and running.

Is this a joke??? Send you my id and home address???

    Send me also.

Taking dogs out, cleaning gardens or shopping and then bringing products back. Just some ideas that I throw and should work across the globe. Or heck, take your parents/friend/aunt DSLR camera, try to take some creative photos, let the parents register account on any stock photo site and sell them. No matter where you are, you can always find something to shoot.

I did some search and I think he is an ok guy, I wasn't even angry at first and even thought of giving him access to one of my idle VM for free but sadly he is not even replying with a valid use case to justify it, so good luck finding free VPS :)

Inb4 he's too immature to find one (which is very easy) and had to go here begging with his mindblown specs for free

yea i'd be happy to share an idler but if you cant say why you need it then it is kind of concerning
    especially all that storage :o

Maybe this explains his use case? Either way, seems strange he hasn't just said what he wanted he needed a VPS for. Could've just said "I wanted to host a site" or the like. okay, yeah, 1TB of storage is wtf

Some providers do provide services for charitable organisations, if you do clarify as charity so be able to get otherwise use free service by Oracle or Amazon cloud service for one year but don’t expect the same specs.

There is a relevant article on LowEndBox on free VPSes, and on LowEndBoxTV as well.

I'll search for it and post links for $20.

Why don't you sign up some cloud provider like linode, upcloud, DO etc, they generally give you 100 bucks or so as welcome credit., this makes your vps free for a while.

Virmach right now gives 5$/y KVM's out like candy, which is basically free.
They don't have any requirements, sadly most of the free offers do.

Besides, it reminds me of the guy, who ask last week for a 6 Core, 4GB Memory Machine.

  • I suggest you EUServ virtual server vs2-free. Only IPv6 connection though. 1 GB RAM, 10 GB disk, 1tb bandwidth @ advertised 1 Gbps.

    Some yabs

At least he tried! Imagine someone here would be like "yeah ok sure take mine!"... Oops hello @FAT32 :D. On the side i'm happy that at least someone was ready to help a young human to have materials to practice and learn. I mean, i was lucky to have free materials when i was around 14yo.

Unfortunately, it's just an ask and go topic, like "yo gimme 20$/m worth VPS!" without any context, without any project, without any information.

At least you can get free small VPS here, there is also few giveaways like form Racknerd, but requires more history on the board. Also like someone else said there is free credits at few providers, be careful they expire after like 1 to 3 months. 1tb storage with those specs will be harder to find. Good luck!

In the old days, going out on a street and shouting "Give me a wife!" sort of actually worked.

Not in the modern times, I am afraid.
