there is @seriesn who I do not like because of the evil offer which he created, based on condition for people to leave @cociu

My friend, are you referring to NexusByte's EID offer which came out a few days before @cociu went completely down the toilet? That is a real holiday & he's offered the EID Holiday sale in the past as well.

I think he might be referring to a switcher/refugee special.

Truth be told, NexusBytes is the only company I would have ever sold to. I have so much respect and trust for Jay and th' team that it wouldn't have happened any other way.

@SmallWeb - you plan to remain in business under a different brand, or will provider tag be removed?

He already requested the tag be removed on other forums and stated he will pursue other endeavours. Probably the tag will be gone here soon, too.

Thank you everyone for kind words! Here at Nexus Bytes we are super excited about all the upcoming changes and we are looking forward towards, not only living up to your
expectations, but to also exceed them.

To add a little twist to the whole thing, we have partnered with our beloved forum mod and my trusted friend @jord to lead the SmallWeb brand. With his and my vision, we expect to elevate the SmallWeb brand :)

    WHAT IS STAYING SAME:

    • Almost everything that you love about SmallWeb! We will not be
changing anything related to your plan and services.

    WHAT IS CHANGING:

    • Terms of Services, Service Level agreement, refund policy and
privacy policy will be updated to reflect local law and Nexus Bytes
LLC operational standard. This will be very similar to our current
policies, which can be found her:
      https://my.nexusbytes.com/knowledgebase/2/Policies
      [https://my.nexusbytes.com/knowledgebase/2/Policies]

    • SmallWeb will be managed by its own team.

    • Nexus Bytes team will work with Smallweb team to ensure faster
ticket response and resolution time, regardless of the time of the day
      or day of the week.

    • SmallWeb will remain a separate brand for Nexus Bytes.

    • SmallWeb client area/billing portal will remain the same and no
immediate changes are required on your end. If you were subscribed via
PayPal or had Credit Cards on file, you may need to redo those.

    • Web Hosting services will be or have been converted to use the
Enterprise version of the LiteSpeed Web Server instead of
OpenLiteSpeed for a more premium experience with enhanced features. We
expect everything to be 100% running on LiteSpeed by the 6th of
      August.

    • We have introduced CloudLinux on all of our servers, which not only
results in better overall security and resource utilization, but also
provides additional awesome features such as the PHP selector,
management of Node.JS and Python applications and much more.

    • Web Hosting services will now include the SitePad website builder
completely free of charge. We expect everything to be working as
anticipated by the 6th of August.

    • Self-restorable nightly backup will be available by the 6th of
August as well, with 3 days retention policy.

    • Limited Family perks
      (https://my.nexusbytes.com/knowledgebase/38/Family-Perks---Because-family-matters.html
      [https://my.nexusbytes.com/knowledgebase/38/Family-Perks---Because-family-matters.html])
will be introduced soon as well. Something that is unique to Nexus
      Bytes Family members 🙂

    • We will be introducing additional services and revamping plans to
ensure optimal end user experience :).

    • Melbourne will be migrated to our own infrastructure within the
upcoming weeks and we will be notifying those who will be impacted
      🙂

Should you have any questions or concerns, please open a ticket and we
    will be happy to answer.

I have been swamped with multiple things lately. However, I will respond to each individual tags and concerns shortly :)

Half of SmallWeb is already running on PremiumBytes infrastructure, and running cost is zero because they took the 1000 push-ups offer.

    • On one side there is @seriesn who I do not like because of the evil offer which he created, based on condition for people to leave @cociu
    • On another side there is @SmallWeb as very good provider who liked so far because of their service quality.

To cancel or not to cancel - that is the question.

    Cancel, no refund.

  • hopefully we see cheap vps in australia now

Shame , sad to see another indie host get eaten up by the big boys

    The "big boys"? Seriously?

Is NexusBytes in the Fortune 500 now?

Although it might be nice if it were true, I'm sure even @seriesn would laugh at the suggestion that he's one of the big boys, gobbling up little companies like truly big companies do.

  • nexusbyte is now in the fortune 500, they even have a vc backing it, yoursunny inc.

  • We are part of fortune cookie 500! Very delicious. Much wisdom.
