so in other words it's not ready to be used as a real phone

What does a "real phone" even mean?
I rarely use voice calls, so I only need an Internet terminal.

My phone number is public though:

    To do:

    • Pushup video serving

PinePhone has 4 ARMv8 cores, 3GB RAM, and 32GB eMMC storage.
My unit currently runs Mobian operating system, which has Linux kernel 5.10 and Debian Bullseye userspace.
However, network is quite limited: it has built-in 2.4GHz WiFi (no 5GHz), as well as 100Mbps Ethernet via adapter.
    YABS results here.

Node.js has official builds for ARMv8.
I can certainly install NDNts video server on the PinePhone.

    Sure. PinePhone has:

    • Telegram (the desktop app) is pre-installed.
    • Linphone can do voice calls.
    • ICQ is in GNOME since 20 years ago.
    • Linphone has video too, but I haven't figured out how to configure video on Asterisk.
    • Email client is pre-installed.

    It's Debian after all.
There's also ArchLinux and Ubuntu based OS to choose,

    That server fucks.

If a VPS provider buys this server, since Optane can be configured to show up as RAM, they can sell 110 units of these:

    4 vCPU, 100% dedicated, burstable to 400%
    12GB RAM
    7GB NVMe
    300GB SAS HDD
    /56 IPv6; $2 extra per IPv4
    40Gbps port, 1.5Gbps dedicated, burstable to 40Gbps
    $6.9/month, stackable

    • Here you have it, dedicated core at less than $7.
    • Sooner or later, large RAM deals would be based on Optane persistent memory, which is cheaper than DRAM according to Intel.

Why would americans be buying VPS? They are drinking together without mask and gathering in non socially distanced drunken crowd with fireworks.
