Hi, is it possible to upgrade my plan before the 13th of May?
Yes it is
We have the following available at the moment. Will also expire on the 13th of May (but likely will go out of stock earlier).
Amsterdam:
Los Angeles / Stockholm:
Hong Kong / Sydney:
Setup time is 3 working days after payment. We will do our best to deliver earlier where possible.
Benchmarking on the $35/yr plan in Amsterdam:
CPU results aren't amazing, but still good for the price. I'm in awe at the RAM and disk speed, though.
@hosthatch Why not provider nvme server on CHI?
most storage servers are on CHI, I think many people like CHI Nvme.
Good to hear about the memory and disk. As for the CPU, if you find better performance/$, please do let me know so we can adjust our offerings.
We're very low on capacity in Chicago, but here are some plans in very limited stock:
Might as well ask if there’s any limited deals in NY?
Hello
Please ticket #911834
Thank you!
it's too expensive, no interesting now.
Ungrateful.
will there be a restock on storage in AMS?
Nothing at the moment, we're nearly sold out there, but sending a bunch of equipment soon.
All good things come at a price
Been wanting to ask this but what’s the cost for NVMe disk upgrades?
1) Will income in near future or is planed also something similar (NVMe limited offer) in UK LON pls?
2) 40Gbit upgrade also planed there?
thanks for the info and great services long time!
The only way to upgrade would be to stack more plans for these specials.
Great to see you happy
For comparison I get the same, 1.1k - 1.2k on single core ryzen 3700 and 3800.
This with 8gb of ram for less than 3$ per month is an absolute steal in my opinion, not even considering the 40gbit line.
I was worried about CPU myself but I bought one based on your bench
Which location is next planned to have a network upgrade Stockholm?
warsaw my best guess
Any plans for storage in New York, or are you sticking with NVMe nodes only? I recall you once mentioned that you felt Chicago and LA were enough for the US, but I would love to see an East coast location as well.
I'm quite happy with my HostHatch services. They are a great value for my backups and archive storage. Looking forward to seeing you grow.
@hosthatch Mhh, I ordered a similar server in Sweden about 1 month ago with the same specs on a yearly basis. I actually wanted to have it in Amsterdam, as I already use one of your very nice storage servers there. Any chance to have some kind of trade in?
Thanks in advance
They don't move promotional services afaik. Refunding the old and buying a new ("trade in") is practically a location move. Just buy an additional, it's cheap.
And big problem is that ppl are lazy read but first ask for something what several time has explained. Then complain that provider is bad because not responding on it ("ohhh bad support! slow response!" etc...) If HH should answer on all useless questions then they cannot do something else ever, only write answers and explanations arround. :-/
I am also surprised many times, despite what amazing offers HH each time brings, what stupid and unfair requirements many people ask (as if they were some kind of charity)
Sorry, did I ask you? Stupid and unfair? I had a simple question which I asked very kindly. If it was something serious, I'd rather directly open a ticket, but I thought some people might be interested in this. Sorry for not reading all the messages before.
As you don't know me, you'll probably have a hard time finding any bad and unfair comments about any provider in here. HostHatch is my prferred provider of all and I'm probably longer with them, than you are.
Just my 2 cents.
$35 for 8GB isn't too expensive.
However, I don't have enough content to fill 8GB.
All the push-ups I have recorded so far, in four video resolutions, have about 1GB of packets.
If I buy the 8GB and fill only 1GB, it's too expensive given I can get 1GB for €10.
If they do $12 for 2GB in Sydney, I'll consider.
CHI is $50
We were planning to put storage nodes there, but with the Chia situation, it looks unlikely for the near future.
The same goes for LA/AMS/STO/CHI....some people opened tickets complaining about the price being higher than before for storage plans - the thing is, it's going to be higher than this on even BF 2021 with the way things are looking....unless Chia drops dead, which is unlikely at this point.
That's great to hear
Let me know if you end up finding that somewhere. I'll also take a couple
sure :-D
Actually, that's not funny.
