How do you deal with DMCA in ams? Want to just use some public torrent trackers

Also bandwidth is counted for upload +download or only upload?

If I'm not wrong, they don't allow even private torrents, let alone public torrents

Do they really not allow torrenting can anyone else confirm?

Customer will not, and will not permit others to, use any Service(s) (i) for any unlawful or illegal purpose or in connection with or in furtherance of any unlawful or illegal activity, (ii) in violation of any applicable law or regulation, (iii) in a manner that will, or is likely to, infringe the copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property rights of others...

private trackers do not make torrenting more lawful. so, how about you take your torrent sh*te elsewhere and don't spoil the performance for others. thanks.

These storage VPS are meant for storing your files and not abusing them for compute purposes.
Get yourself a seedbox, it'll work out way better for you.

'performance' is more than just cpu use. luckily @hosthatch handles this in an approprioate way:

If any of the above are detected, your service(s) will be terminated or suspended without notice and no refund shall be granted.

how about you accept that you won't get what you want here and look for another provider. this offer would be the wrong choice. just leave it...

I added funds, and ordered the server. I know you said setup is 3 days after order, but is there a way to know that the order went through? Something under the servers tab that says, "In Progress" would help.

There seems to be a problem ordering that server. I get a "Your order was successfully created." message but the order doesn't appear under "Pending Servers" as it does with the other offers.

iirc torrent usually creates high load on CPU and disk. Especially since it uses rather small and random chunks of files, and reads and write a lot. Those are mostly meant for actual storing purposes (backups, etc.) rather than high r/w activities

I’m pretty sure it would be per DC. Floating between location would require routing at least a /24, or announcing that IP on every DC, and do internal routing

What is poor IO performance to you? My Chicago HH servers have some of the highest IO out of more than a dozen VPS's I have.
