I guess VirMach had a lot more people F5'ing than TH.
I think it's a combination of having way less people spamming refresh here for the deal + the deal becoming out of stock in less than 4 seconds. So by the time lots of people were clicking that link, the product didn't exist anymore and it was just a static page (probably).
I also clicked the link in 4 seconds, but didn't even load the product details... Whoever got the deal from refreshing the previous BF link probably deserved it lol
I believe someone mention one possible scenario: 30 seconds from stock update to order, which is possible if someone knows the PID to guess
Alternatively, maybe the system will lock the stock to the first user who enter the page first, then the guy can take as much time as needed to order (which is 30 seconds in this case)

Yeah, Enigma should support coupon codes (if it doesn't already), and you should post deals with one-time-only codes....
If the product ID does not have to be auto-increment or something, using/manually-enforcing some random ID would still be better than this I think (I'm assuming using non-numeric product IDs (making coupon-code, and product ID same) would be a no-go in your code/DB schema)...

As recommended by others, maybe the best way could be add in a coupon code, in that case even if someone can guess the PID, they cannot order until they got the code

Can I request this dedi to be given to FAT32 without all of us madly scrambling and fighting? He has done a lot to make the end of 2020 a bit better for all of us who have no lives beyond servers. Also, it's still Christmas in some parts of the world. He deserves a treat today.
