    Hi @Abdullah

Can you provide test IP or looking glass for Sydney / Hongkong?

    Yes - please see hosthatch.com/features

  • @Abdullah what is your policy regarding "personal P2P" (light/small-volume torrents, edonkey usage)?

I don't really know what personal p2p entails to be honest. We do not really have a problem with you seeding some private ISOs here and there, but there are other providers more suited to torrents.

  • @Abdullah I got LA storage box 2018. Can you match the resources from this promo? (I think it had 2.5tb) but same price... Would be a shame to cancel it and order a new one. Thanks!

Yes, as I already mentioned in the OP - if you're an existing customer, you can upgrade without ordering a new server. That lasts until we have this promo running and have availability.

@Abdullah any hint about when you are planning to do the flash sale thingies?

Likely in the morning of CET. Anything particular of interest?

Those will be with direct order URLs btw - so we can easily control stock/time limits.

Some juicy deal like this maybe?
1 CPU core (12.5% dedicated, burstable up to 100%)
    1 GB RAM
    10 GB RAID-10 NVMe
    200-500 GB bandwidth
$7 ? (for the memes) per year in multiple locations Stockholm, Los Angeles, London, New York (Sydney and Hong Kong too maybe?)

  • JamesFJamesF Member, Host Rep

I ordered one :) I chose UK, but Eu would be great! :)

  • Do you have internal directadmin licenses?

@thole said: If i use more than 1TB, can i still access my server or it's stopped until next month?

If you exceed the bandwidth the server will be suspended per my recollection until you purchase more bandwidth. That said, you are able to login at any time and add additional bandwidth from their interface in reasonable increments, I think as small at 500GB for just a few dollars (assuming it may depend on location some) and have the server un-suspended automatically without a ticket.

    my 2 cents.

    Cheers!

These deals will be live until end of Monday in EST - unless they are extended, or are out of stock. We have lower stock in some locations than others (example Stockholm, Amsterdam and LA storage - so those might go out sooner than others)

Hey man, thanks for the great offers! I have been using HostHatch for more than a year and am satisfied with what I have with your service.

    Just ordered two more servers.

    Keep going!

    From the control panel :

Note: For Windows, please make sure you add the VirtIO drivers on to the ISO. The official ISOs from Microsoft do not include VirtIO drivers by default.

If we get muiitple VMs in the same data center, can the VPS be spread between different physical nodes? What are the network mixes for the US data centers? Thank you

Thanks! I saw it from him in the previous post, tho i barely use my current server, it's only 0.8g/8g memory (4c - 99% idle) now at Letbox, but I'd like to support these guys! :))

Yes, no worries on spreading them around - but depends on availability so please ask before ordering (with info on what you are ordering and the locations).

Do you have another provider in HK that has better ping to you so we can compare? Can you please PM me traceroutes from them? I can see what we can do about it then.

It is delayed and they have a lot of people putting in funds at once, so the cron jobs are probably staggered. Give it about 10 minutes and you should see it as balance in the panel.

    Cheers!

  • @Abdullah said: Zurich has 353 days, 100% uptime according to my stats. But probably going to jinx it by saying that outloud

Problems can happen anywhere at any time to be honest - I wouldn't say one location is better than the other in uptime since that might change the next hour.

Thanks for your input. You are right. Its very difficult to qualify one location over the other and in the end it just turns out to be a personal choice. Anyways.. is nested virtualization a possibility on the NVMe VPSes ?

We don't have storage plans in Zurich at the moment. But we do in London if that is of interest.

We might have a flash sale some time tomorrow with what you are looking for, so please keep an eye out.

  • @Abdullah Please tell me that the speed measurement address of Chicago in our feature is 107.181.166.10, which is not in Chicago. It's San Jose IP. May I ask if it is wrong. If there is no mistake. Can I get 107.181.166. X IP segment when I buy Chicago

I don't fully understand what you mean, but we do not own or operate that IP space.
