@ninzo59 since you are extending it till Monday, will you add more ks-7 in FR or it's just for what is left?

No news stock, what is left

Indeed, no more KS-7 FR datacenter. You will be delivered as soon as we have new server, it shouldn't last days.

Finally, I will let this flash sale until Monday morning. After all, there was no flash sale for months and there is still a lot of stock of KS-10 (either FR/CA), and still KS-7 in BHS.

    Enjoy !

@ninzo59 can you add other range in the flash sales too for example (KS-11/KS-12)?

Yes do it for once, @ninzo59 these are the same offers from years ago, would love to see some new servers

I know right. But we have no stock available on theses product (KS-11/12). Can't make it for now.

@ninzo59: Why not throw in a LET sale on the KS-4 (Atom with 2x2 TB), there seems (plenty of ?) stock ?

I do believe 2 servers in flash sale in a single shot is already pretty attractive. Especially when both are (were) available in FR/ CA datacenters.
    It's the first time actually.

Nice indeed, but I need some storage space :-)

Well, not to everyone -- not to you, for example.

Sorry my bad, I thought you were trolling new members on LET. I apologize.

    Thanked by 1NanoG6
  • Picked up a KS-7, can't beat dedicated for the price.

  • Picked up a KS-10, surprised with CPU performance.

Any ssd deals? More type of servers?
Send you questions in private message too.

That site uses their own benchmark, geekbench 4 scores for i5-3570S are around 4k for single core and 11k for multi core. This is 30% faster than what was posted in the offer.

  • what is de network speed on the servers in Canada ? 100 Mbps (as expected) or 1 Gbps (as already mentionned in this thread) ?

    I got 100mbps on KS7

    Thanked by 1wlambrechts
  • guess I missed it

  • In what year will 100Mbps just not be acceptable for everyone? It's like 5+ years past for me. I'd be throwing shit if I could only get 100Mbps these days.

For $7 100mbps unmetered is acceptable

I dunno how they even do it for that price, I am from US and it costs almost $0.12/kWh (Kilo Watt Hour). My PC idles at around 50 Watts and if I keep it at idle 24*7 it will cost me 36 kWh ~ $4.32/month in my electricity bill

(1m20s) Is this some kind of absurd central water cooling setup?

They use it for heating in the winter, thus lowering the cost??

    fffffff oh well

  • Is it still possible to install VMware ESXi on these servers? It’s no longer listed on the website as supported OS..

  • Ordered KS-10 few hours ago, not bad at all. Only 1€ more than the C2750 from oneprovider but 33% or so more cpu performance (especially with 2x less cores!), double the ram and disk space. Also got 2400 instead of 2300, dunno if that's good or bad. Will have to see if 100 Mbit is enough for my use. HGST HUS724020ALA640 with 40K power-on hours, 140 MiB/s write and 150MiB/s read.
