canada datacenter not working
Try to clear your cache or another browser.
This process isn't optimized. Sorry.
Not sure why, same problem with CA here.
I tried diff browser.
Weird. Left the office, tried on my phone through US website on KS 7 Bhs (CA) and it's fine..
canada seems to be not working. tried refreshing..
Tried it on my a different pc, not working still
Can only try something tomorrow morning. But it's working on my side tho..
Tried both in CA but says it cannot be ordered on Kimsufi.
France seems to work fine.
Same here. France works but CA dont.
Can confirm only france works. Tried EU, US and world sites.
The references are wrong
I3 CA 1804sys181 -> 1804sk181
I5 CA 1904sys21 ->1904sk21
Use these reference codes for Canada:
1804sk181
1904sk21
for the i3 and i5 respectively.
Omg you right. Wasn't looking at my post's content that's why it was working on my side.
Sorry guys.. I edited the post.
any surprise with CPU? anyone get a different CPU which is not mentioned from the official
Looks good! Am I correct in remembering that we can't purchase additional IPv4's?
Any one got the surprise specs?
Why no discount on the 2x2 TB servers ? I need some extra storage...
@tjn: no, as far as I know: just a single IPv4 address
I'm missing my KS-4C U_U
For plex / emby the Servers KS-7 should be more than enough for 1x 1080p transcode right?
Or should I wait for LU slabs and get a slice?
My order is still processing 😅
It's been about 2.5 hours
Please share benchmark when you receive it
Yes
https://support.plex.tv/articles/201774043-what-kind-of-cpu-do-i-need-for-my-server/
Very roughly speaking, for a single full-transcode of a video, the following PassMark score requirements are a good guideline for the following average source file:
1080p (10Mbps, H.264) file: 2000 PassMark score
720p (4Mbps, H.264) file: 1500 PassMark score
Intel i3-2130 has Passmark of 4075 - https://www.cpubenchmark.net/[email protected]+2.80GHz&id=788
However, try playing it at direct play or play at original quality, it doesn't require transcoding and very minimum CPU usage. I use Plex's direct play for my daughter's cartoons and it works greats.
@ninzo59 I love you, thanks for giving us Kimsufi Flash Sale, you are awesome
Hope you a great day ahead!
KS-7 in CA, BHS1 - got a i3-3240; everything else is standard.
Quicksync should also work for transcodes, but untested.
2TB Ultrastar 7K6000 has almost 30k power on hours
Thank you, great sale! But 100mbit will not work out for me. Why not shared 1Gbit with let's say 5TB included? Any plans to update the Kimsufi line to 1Gbit?
@ninzo59 You are great man, thanks ☺️
I would also like to see a discounted one with 4TB storage (lower end server spec ok).
Same question here.
Me too for my linux iso.
Thanks for the offer. I have no need for a server right now but could not pass such an offer, so I got a ks7. Let the idling begin.
