@cdrive @Abdullah any realistic ETA for ZUR ?
just so we can wait it out patiently ;-)
I got told that they want to start to delivery them today.
I'm also fine waiting, as long as one has a realistic ETA
got my Zurich provisioned @Falzo @pinc @tehdartherer
so you should also get yours soon, will try to make some test soon
Please do, I wonder how it fares compared to fsit ones
Update: edited that initial benchmark, it was not a good one because I was too excited about it
Zurich, M247
We have started to provision ZUR orders, and we apologise to keep you waiting, guys
In the event that you have yet to receive the ZUR server within these 2 days, do PM me your ticket number, and likewise, if we had missed out any orders placed within the promotional period, do PM us the ticket number, so that we may review the case accordingly.
Thanks.
thank you @Abdullah so far ANOTHER top quality product at an incredible price
@Abdullah do you plan to offer something for Christmas as well? In need for VPS and storage VPS :-)
Thank you in advance!
another bench Zurich $16 yearly:
here are more (download) speeds - keep in mind they still optimizing the peerings in zurich ;-)
thanks @Abdullah and team - real decent servers (and offers from BF) ;-)
Damn fine! Shouldn't have skipped that Zurich deal.
hello - thank you for the compliments and I'd make sure this is shared across the team
@cdrive I missed the BF deal. Am hoping you guys will still offer the zurich/londo 84$/year 3TB storage VPS? I'd really like to get it!
Hello @yolo_me, the promotional VPS offers are no longer valid and in order to ensure transparency, we are unable to proceed with orders past the promotional period. However, do keep track of the thread as we continue to release promotional offers from time to time. Thank you for your interests.
Finally felt comfortable enough to start using my London Storage from September.
Rsync in from BHS(OVH) is smooth. Network is not a bottleneck on this side.
Disk fsyncs every 10-12 secs at 270MB/s .
Perfectly balanced storage box.
@cdrive After the maintenance, IPv6 still doesn't work on my chicago storage box...
Even if I re-installed it again...
The ticket is abandoned... #877852
Could you take a look or share some info about this, please?
Same here. It seems nothing changed after the maintenance. The host was apparently dropping IPv6 packets sent from the VM (possibly firewall), and it still appears so.
It has been two months since this issue has been brought up on LET. In my estimation it's probably a simple and easy to fix issue, so whatever the excuse it is not good enough.
@Chocoweb @psb777 - I received an email saying the maintenance window for Chicago had been changed to Dec 18th, 18:15-18:45 CST.
Yes. Just after I posted here.
Has anyone heard how long it takes for them to respond to support tickets?
Just slightly quicker than OVH.
Well, Austria had bad routing, but now NL follows its path.
Meanwhile in Austria
Premium M247 routing.
You must have missed my comment on the 29th of November. Here is a snippet:
"Can you give me the ticket # for where you shared this with us?"
Might just be your ISP acting up, but can't know for sure until I see what happened to your ticket. We have a lot of happy customers in Austria with no network problems.
I agree, they have been great, with far less problems than most other upstreams we've used. No one is perfect. We usually have small differences in routing for our prefixes as we see fit along the time as compared to our upstreams. Glad you find it to be premium.
We use Nforce in Amsterdam by the way, also one of the more premium networks you can find.
just a wild guess: the other end of that smokeping stuff is at hetzner. not on double paid traffic though, so during prime time telekom somewhere on the road might be congested or avoided and that messes things up. seen it before.
@psb777 @FrankZ @cdrive @Abdullah It seems that the maintenance has been done. However, my Chicago NVMe server's IPv6 still works, while my Chicago storage server's still doesn't work. Nothing changed?
As of Dec 18th, 18:59 Central Time, it seems nothing really changed.
Please update your ticket for assistance if you're still seeing the issue. The maintenance was completed successfully.
Well, as of 19:08, the issue seems resolved.
The IPv6 issue is finally resolved. So excited.
