Which free web hosting control panel would you recommend?

I'm going to be testing out some of the free control panels, which would you recommend based on:

Ease of use for the customer
Adding domains
Reseller option (reseller hosting)
Web hosting & reseller hosting dashboards
Softaculous integration
File Manager
FTP
Show user resources
Add/manage their own email
SSL integration (letsencrypt)
Auto update / Script update

Feel free to add into comment section if i've missed any, bonus if it integrates with Blesta for automation.

Forgot to mention a migration toolkit would also help. (Moving from cPanel) and is compatible with CentOS.

Some providers here are now giving free DA licenses with their services.
I have my own (free) DirectAdmin license running at a BuyVM KVM ;)

    I highly recommend them.

Clouvider is offering free licensing for DirectAdmin with dedis. I'm sure other companies will follow suit soon enough.

Yep I've had a quote in a different thread from clouvider but because I'm on a budget I got a good offer from @Zare which I'm going to take all being well.

I had some amazing experiences with VestaCP, still using this control panel for my local development environment. Looking forward to test HestiaCP, a fork of VestaCP.

I've been playing with Hestia. It's nice but it (and Vesta) are very simple compared with cpanel/DA/etc. I think shared hosting customers accustomed to the fancier panels aren't likely to be satisfied with it. You probably do have to bite the bullet and license something like DA.

The control panel is very easy to use, you can create websites, aliases and databases within a few clicks. I have set a standard template when creating websites, to get everything that I need in one click. Database settings, database and all the web files.

But.. There were a few security flaws in VestaCP, that made me question for production usage. That's why I'm using it for local usage only, and I don't want to pay for a license for something like a development environment.

Person is trying to run their own hosting service in the UK and I don't think you can use DA on BuyVM to control remote servers. This is actually one reason I've been suggesting Hestia switch over to a remote orchestration model.

Too risky if it's got security flaws, I may give that one a miss.

Looks like the majority prefer ISPConfig so far, I'll give that one a test.

    Not IME.
I get services from a few on here (including OVH) and have had many others elsewhere for well over a decade but is of no consequence. Abbreviated address and a PayPal alias email equals a brick wall, even when initial payment has been made.

Along with DA, this is of course, off topic. :-|

I just use them and fuck with BuyVM I'm jus real I don't get paid shit I just recommend real.

  • In term of simplicity, there is no panel that is more simpler than vesta / hestia. It's so damn simple, even simpler than cpanel.

Beating this qoute is doubtful. E3-1230v6, 16GB RAM, 250GB SSD, 3 x IP £42. That's excluding Blesta as I get that from buycpanel. All in rounds up to about £48pm.
