    It's not for Lucene. But I saw similar disk usage on a Lucene node, before moving to a datacenter SSD server

  • Read the whole thread. Still have no idea what is the best dedicated server I can get for 70 USD/month. However, I did revise some biology about action potentials and what now. Good ol' LET.

    Check and make sure you have enough ram, it could be swapping all the time, which is bad.

    looks good at first glance - but might doublrcheck how much swap and how much swapiness ...
