Fremont had network issues about an hour ago.
IPv6 still dead, waiting for fix.

IPv6 is back up since roughly 1 hour.
If you still have issues, lemme know.

IPv6 should now be fully restored.
However there will be another maintenance, which should solve this issue once and for all.

  • is it possible to point cloudflare to one of these? I have a few small web micro-service ideas that could run on one of these

Yes, I also use Cloudflare to make the websites accessible via IPv4. Add your public AAAA to domain and use the proxy option of Cloudflare.

Last I checked you could only define an IP address for the origin, but not a port - has that changed?

You get 80 which is plain and 443 forwarded.
We don't do any MITM crap with 443.

Downside is, TLS 1.3 encrypted SNI won't work but TLS ...1.2/1.3 works fine.

  • ah ha, i see it under Rules. Great!

Forgot you also have haproxy option to add websites.

    I think he means User -- IPv4 --> Cloudflare -- IPv6 --> NAT KVM

Pretty much, although how the user connects to cldouflare shuldnt matter. but yeah, domain.com > cf proxy > ipv6:port69 (http or https)

That is a cloudflare issue, cloudflare only supports 80 or 443.
You have to listen on 80 and 443 on IPv6.

  • @Neoon said: That is a cloudflare issue, cloudflare only supports 80 or 443.
You have to listen on 80 and 443 on IPv6.

cloudflare rules allow directing all requests to a custom port, so I dont think you need to listen on 80 or 443 at all

Fibre cut on crunchbits but that was already posted here.

    Also.
Fremont IPv6 connectivity will drop in about 20 minutes.
Sorry for the short notice, I didn't got a confirmation earlier.
