Hi.
Today i make:
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
on my ubuntu 16.04 VPS in Nuremberg, Germany, which worked perfectly for 50+ days after buy and install.
After reboot i cant connect via SSH.
To fix that you need to add a cron job
@reboot mkdir -p -m0755 /var/run/sshd && systemctl restart ssh.service
via Serial Console from Client Area, and reboot you VPS.

p.s. other services are affected to (lighttpd cant start for example).
p.p.s. the reason is in the old OpenVZ core.
