Unfortunately we cannot do it, as MailChannels bills $1 USD per subaccount, so it would be a total loss, can't do it ;P

  • 5k email for $2 plan?

Can only do it for 3.5 EUR, unfortunately.. Is that interesting?

  • At 3.5 I'd just use any of the other services for better delivery, IP reputation, and volume

This is the best we can do here and it's a really offer :-)

  • Pitch it to me, as in what can you offer above that?

Mailgun is 10k free, sendgrid is 15k free.

I'm also hit with a foreign transaction fee / bad exchange rates if I pay in euro.

Sorry but these are our best prices, we really don't have to compete with other companies :-). We know what we sell and its value, we're not going to make a loss here.

    Like, which services? :-)

  • @MikePT said:

That comes out to about $2.50USD/mo; that's about $0.00125/msg.
Fairly comparable to Gleerts' package, which is also a "Fuck you" PayPal Euro fee.

Not expensive, but still, currently covered with my POP/SMTP getup. Will be watching. Cheers!

Works for me. Sane response instead of something reeking of desperation. Do you support sending mail via HTTPS API calls?

Unfortunately no API access, as only resellers get it. :-)

These offers are... Really good, trust me, considering our fees and all that, it's really the best we can do :P. Don't resist and join US!!!

  • Can we use the regular mxroute plans (like the $5/y BF plans) for low volume relaying?

It's not the same as a generic SMTP relay, but it is possible. This is an entirely separate venture.

If I may ask, what would be the practical difference between using mxroute.io for relaying and using mxroute.com for relaying? What does @WSS mean by a "generic SMTP relay"? (Just asking.)

MXroute.com is a different service, focused on mail service, fully featured email service, emails are delivered using MailChannels. While MXroute.io focus on SMTP Relay Services.

Do note that in MXroute.com in case you're relaying too many emails, we might need to throttle, while in MXroute.io you can use the full allocation to deliver emails, as well as getting access to MailChannels Clouds. It's two different services we offer, while as WSS mentioned above, MXroute focus on SMTP Relay Services.

  • My relay volume might be as much as 10 or 20 emails a day, not 1000s or anything like that. Is using mxroute.com a problem for that?

No, it shouldn't be an issue at all :-).

  • I guess that one would choose mxroute.io for deliverability. For incoming mail, one would need another solution.

Yep exactly, for incoming mail, you can just signup at www.mxroute.com :-)

    I understand. ;-)

Seriously, though, it seems to me that mxroute.com makes more sense for moderate email users: you get both deliverability and incoming mail handled for an attractive price. It's really only for high volume outgoing email that mxroute.io makes sense.

  • Hi. I registered for a new account and there is some delay problem to get the verification email. At least it takes >4 minutes to my Google Apps account. (For ex. it takes a couple seconds from a Yahoo mail service).

    Is it right?

Indeed, and we're aware. Just providing an alternative option here for those that require it.

Howdy, we're using MailChannels to deliver the confirmation emails as well. I see that you've confirmed your account already.

As for GApps, I've tested this to GSuite and there was a 10 second delay though.

P.S: There may be an extra delay activating the accounts due to their API being down:

    https://api.mailchannels.net/reseller/v1/sub_accounts
    500 Internal Server Error

SMTP/Cloud is alright, I've reported this issue, they weren't aware and their Operations team is on it already.
