Edited (used very old version of unixbench before) UnixBench 5.1.2 shows a score of 1163.0 on this offer while in comparison a Ramnode NL 128MB OVZ box gets 920.2 and my favorite box hosted at Castlegem (LDEX location, 512 MB KVM) gets 1640.0

// all with disabled graphic test -> #GRAPHIC_TESTS = defined

@ComsTownWebIT will your upcoming offer have the same specifications apart from the 2GB ram? so will it be 2gb ram, 40gb hdd, 1 core?

    Thanked by 1ozfingwe
  • Hey, sure, but less CPU GHz. Not 2GHz but 1.5GHz

We want 2 euro vps :)

If paying yearly makes an additional saving, why not?

  • Because 2€ is the lowest we can do :P

  • netomxnetomx Moderator, Veteran

    Well give us more :)

BTW can you upload our own images?

  • Maybe there will be the following:
    1GB RAM
    50GB HDD
    1GHz AMD Opteron vCore
    100 MBit/s

    for 2,50€ or 3€ p.m.

    What do you mean?

Of you mean ISO Files: Just Tell me which ISO, i'll check if they are okay

  • sounds much better, because 5 EUR well, I know the ram is great etc, but there are already some offers for that price. 2.50 sounds like a deal.

I can confirm this works, however you still have only german iso of windows 2008 r2.

Can you please update me (via PM) the network config ( gateway, subnet etc) since dhcp is disabled.. and I formatted the existing debian without taking note of that..

  • Hey,

I will add any IP informations to the CP, currently due to security reasons no dhcp is available!

More isos will show up in the next 1-2 hours!

Thanks. I can see the IP information in CP. Waiting for ISO's ;)

  • Yes... Very slow download servers at Microsoft ... :/

I see the isos appear in the control panel, but right now the windows installation fails with the following error "Could not read from CDROM (code 0004)" for 2008 R2 and the same with code 0009 for 2008 32bit. The rest seems to work fine.

Edit: Its working again :) live development in progress

  • Hmm... I dont know what happened to the winsrv2008 ISOs but i get the same "Could not read" error...

  • R2 englisch iso is now available!

  • We have now planned our next vSpecial:

    2GB RAM
    1,5GHz AMD Opteron vCore
    100Mbit/s
    80GB HDD

    5,00€/mo.

    1GB RAM
    1,0GHz AMD Opteron vCore
    100Mbit/s
    40GB HDD

    3,00€/mo.
