    yes. I need korea vps if you provide more traffic?

    Question: Are there going to be any restrictions on how the 500GB/1TB traffic can be used?

    Many IDCs in KR limit "international traffic" to 3-5% of the monthly total and charge hefty overage fees if you go over that. Some even have separate meters for domestic and international traffic. So if you use all of your traffic allowance on communications to the US or Europe, you might get yourself and/or your ISP in trouble.

    From China Telecom, not the best but acceptable latency to Korea, will definitely get one if the $7 package comes with > 500gb of bandwidth. Also which provider you are going to be with for your Japanese location?

    Yes, you're right! But the DC I'll contract with was built for international purposes. So there is no restriction of using international traffic, that's what I heard from DC.

    We don't have any plan for providing Japanese location. What I meant on the post was that you can write support ticket in Japanese. Sorry for my ambiguous sentences.

  • I'm interested in that.

  • hm, you beat SKs cloud by pricing but not by BW quality (but they have annoying NAT)... interested.
    (SK Cloud does not need any ID either, any CC is fine for signup, not even an address is required...)

    Yes you're right. KT has grate international routing but the price is ridiculous. If I use KT line for this, I should double or maybe triple the price, so I can't offer VPS here. And they charge differently for international traffic as @kijin said. Anyway, Thanks!

  • I'll buy one as long as it fast. :)

  • Not really, the cloud instance starts at like 25$ with 512(?)MB RAM and 1TB traffic, only the NAT is annoying.

  • @william - they NAT outgoing connections or incoming as well?

  • RelipRelip Member

    @William I was talking about Colo! :)

    @finlandvps Yes, they assign private IP to the cloud instance.

  • Yes, this in itself is not so bad (you get used to it by Amazon) but the firewall where you can only forward SINGLE ports (no ranges) is extremely annoying.

    As far as I know, ISATAP needs IPv6 address, but as I said on the post, we can't provide you a IPv6 address. Sorry.

  • Doh, i didn't mean isa/tap i mean tun/tap to allow VPN connections

  • @relip - do you allow VPN for VPN providers? Meaning, do you allow people to setup VPN service for providing VPN for their customers - where nothing is logged?
