And then there still is a difference between "reasonable and understandable" price increasements and the ones EB uses.

Generally, hosts aren't supposed to bump prices on recurring deals, but some hosts do it anyway.

If they're waiting until the next renewal period to bump the price, I'd say you got lucky.

Now they are charging me $45 for the same plan (renewal). I opened a ticket asking about the recurring price and I got this answer:

So seriously, give them a break. They offer great service, very good speeds, and great hardware for the price.
