Why's everyone requesting free resources? What are you all thinking? cookies falling from the sky or hosting providers are drowning from unlimited resources right now?

Just FYI, users who show up here and start a thread asking for something free (e.g., a free VPS) will be regarded with skepticism and will very probably be trolled left and right

Also love the fact that the entire project is just 30 mins old but we already have 2 threads about getting free servers sponsored for the project.

@Alyx don't be too harsh, at least they got LLM generated project created 54 minutes ago on github to prove they really need this 2c4g free VDS.

First it was "$7", now it’s "free." Can’t wait for next month's thread: "[REQ] Provider to pay me $5/mo to idle on their node."

and video transcoding alone would bankrupt a free project on egress and compute. What you are looking for is not an approiate scale for a one-man-team, more like LTT/floatplane level.

At least not for free...... Hmmm.....

The platform will not charge users for access to or use of its core services. My intention is to keep it freely accessible to the Christian community and anyone who wishes to use its resources.

If you are on gh student plan, Azure had free 2vc 1GB. If you are just scraping and not doing any video processing, that should be enough.
