ChicagoVPS was acquired by ColoCrossing. If memory serves correct Deluxe (who owned CC) was acquired by Host Papa not so long time ago.

No idea why nobody cares about Ethernetservers. Maybe the stigma for OpenVZ instead of KVM. I still have an OpenVZ instance with ChicagoVPS, works well and is cheap.
