my dns queries is going through my adguard instance to my unbound, and i can always block anything which seems like collecting data.

I have used nextdns and found it pretty alright

Possible, well i am running private recursive DNS with adguard on top, plus ipv6 tunnel for v6 connectivity and my provider assigned me their routeros IP, pretty much safe.

Personal DNS server and block all bad contents.

Not sure what happened with the Ubuntu image, I installed Debian 11 and was fine for the DNS front so I guess they had a mismatch somewhere.
