One does not simply resell at a profit when the Aussie dollar is literally down the crapper. $0.83 USD for $1 AUD.
Plus I made a control panel for it and I've donated 3 (of five) of my machines to students that I know really want one.
Just want to share the love with the last few
So you're selling at 4.50 AUD?
think more, i know you can understand it.
nevermind. just saying who doesnt want this cheap stuff.
Oh ok, I understand where you're coming from. It was just phrased in a weird way.
So $3.20 AUD with my bank's conversion rate and add the $0.45 conversion fee. It's already $3.65 AUD LOL
Yep
Did anyone get any of the other ( more expensive ) higher spec'd servers? or was everyone just after the $2 ones? I would happily take one of the more expensive ones off someone's hands if they didn't want it.... you know... because it cost more than $2 and this is LET.
Oh, okay then. Yeah that sounds pretty bad with regards to the the banks, charging you a premium on the conversion (should be 2.90 AUD to 2 Euros, not 3.65) but I think I'll just wait for when it goes on sale again, or I'll probably just get the SC Gen2.
At that price why not opt for the KS-1? If you get a N2800 it'll blow that VIA Nano out of the water. There was a direct link earlier in this thread IIRC or maybe it was the Kimsufi thread that let me get one of the KS1 even though they appeared as sold out.
Can some help me out with some uses for my boxes? Maybe there's something interesting I haven't though of.
Thoughts so far:
I don't need to use this for a webserver as i've got shared hosting for my web stuff.
KS-1's is more hassle to get, I think, with the verification of address and identification, and it's not something I want to go through. Either way, I currently have a server that I'm paying for, and the monthly subscription ends in three weeks. After that I'll decide between the KS-1 and the SC Gen2 since both do sound pretty appealing. I was just on this thread to see if there's a Kidechire since that would be smarter to snatch up now since it wouldn't be available in a month.
I feel you, I saw it had 18 new comments and my heart skipped a beat.
Anyone who need 4814, can give you at €25/month.

Kidechire @ €3/month
Let me know if anyone has some interest in it
How?.
@Sady I assume you mean it stays in your account and isn't transferred to our accounts.
You'll pay for the server (to my paypal account) & I'll not touch that server after installing your required OS & giving access to IRDAC (4814 only) on your IP.
@Sady What I understand is that you'll just let the interested use the server. Or am I wrong?
Exactly, asked their support & they're saying it's not possible.
Hope an abuser doesn't lease the node and leave the papertrail to you
@Sady: I am interested in but I am afraid of this kind of lease cannot last long since there are some risk such as you take the server again, or forgot to pay for bill, etc. How about selling the whole account and I can change the information? Can all information (including credit card) be changed?
You cannot transfer the server, but you can resell the server.
Have to do some kind of trust.
Selling whole account is not possible as i have personal C2758 box there.
People are always running Tor for a reason. Some have more reasons than one.
Different servers seem to have different OS options.
Hmm, I have 2 boxes, and they don't have CentOS 6.
I'm already writing with them. But somehow they don't understand my problem or they don't want to. I would totally agree to pay an amount for the time I used their windows licence, but I can't afford a whole month which costs 30€ even if I only used it for a few hours ...
@trexos have you reinstalled your server to use *nix OS yet?
Yes, I did this long time before I even noticed that I got billed 29,99€ for this
@trexos if they don't want to understand, I think you need to pay them unfortunately.
I know
I'm afraid I have to.
ignore this
