    Okay, I don't need the Kidechire now and when I clicked on Cancelletion it said I'll be billed for the Whole December! (WTF!) and it wil be cancelled to the end of this Month. I also can't remove My Credit Card. What type of system is this that they save My CC details to charge Me afterwards !

  • @Mahfuz_SS_EHL You have to cancel before the 20th of the month I think, per their TOS. So you have to keep it for another month. Just cancel before Dec 20th and it won't renew in January.

    Okay, I don't need the Kidechire now and when I clicked on Cancelletion it said I'll be billed for the Whole December! (WTF!) and it wil be cancelled to the end of this Month. I also can't remove My Credit Card. What type of system is this that they save My CC details to charge Me afterwards !

    Another 3rd-worlder, to quote my friend Joe, discovers the civilized world and legal contracts with auto-renewal and a requirement of cancellation notice. Now go invent creative ways how you can scam the evil European company and weasel your way out of paying for the 1.99 EUR dedicated server that they dared to so forcefully impose on you.

    You agree to the ToS when you signup, did you miss the part covering cancellation policy?

    I'm sorry, but this is your mistake. Don't you see instruction when install Windows via Online.net Panel?
    I install Windows myself, there isn't any hiden fee :)

  • does anyone know what happens if you don't pay the bill? just interested, will you get canceled just like with OVH or will there be extra fees?

    My cc was playing up this is in their email:

    We draw your attention on the fact that, if your invoice is not paid within 8 days, your services will be locked and terminated.

    Did you read their policy? Today is December. Of course it will be billed for December.

    This happened to me last month and I had to log into the panel and try the payment for a second time, manually.

    This happened again this month but before I had the chance to catch the email and log into their panel and manually try the payment again, I received another email to say they had taken payment.

    I think they will make the payment again if it fails a few hours later. Online tends to make payment at around 12-1am at my place and that is when my bank does its daily maintenance(so the first payment always fails) then an hour or so later I've also received the email stating that my payment for the dedi has been done.

    i doubt they will do anything, but if you are going to use them again they may blacklist you for nonpayment.

    dafuq... In this day and age there are still banks which are offline DAILY for HOURS?

    Same. And it happened again this week, but an hour later the payment went through automatically.

    Accidents can happen, even though that is a major screw-up and I bet a few heads rolled but programmatically doing maintenance which kicks the bank offline for hours today is not conceivable for me. If it happened in the nineties, say, early 2000, perhaps, e-commerce and online trading was not that spread and it was not completely unusual for me to have one card rejected, that is why was carrying two, but I havent had one incident like this in maybe 10 years.

    @Maounique they didn't learn, Tescos still has issues processing NatWest payments periodically.

  • My card regularly gets declined for no apparent reason. That's with Santander.

  • Well, now the shopping day of all shopping days (or better extra long weekends) is over. :(
    Didn't got as much as last year. Just sad online.net only offered their cheapest server only one time.
