Whats going on with Cloudflare guys? The sites been up and down for the last 6 hours.
They're linked to in the right-hand nav above the ads.
Yes, I know that. Which is why I also said this:
Just saying...
Cloudflare had an outage today in North America.
Search 403 errors are fun
For search may I suggest http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/750285/#Comment_750285
Lately, I haven't been receiving an email when someone starts a private message with me. However, I do receive emails when someone replies to the private message.
may we have shoutbox ? rather than junking/oot/spam alot
Access control to the Wiki linked to our LET accounts. Which should minimize the amount of spam on there. I tidied the front page and went to do other pages but discovered pages and pages of Spam revisions.
For start stay online

Doesn't seem that way. Also LET isn't behind Cloudflare anyway (at least not now)
It was posted on their twitter. Lasted about 50 minutes due to a routing leak in Columbia.
Search will be enabled for members probably as soon as today.
@jbiloh Now that CloudFlare has deployed Universal SSL, is there any excuse at all not to provide full SSL on LowEndBox & LowEndTalk?
If you do use CloudFlare, it should be easy to deploy SSL on the client->CF side at the very least, but it'd be useless if you weren't to setup SSL on the CF->LE* side (aka CF's Full SSL Strict mode).
Please take this issue into consideration. A lot of providers and clients alike use LET and it's quite inacceptable not to provide SSL, in 2014, on a platform with so many users. For some reason, all talks about SSL on LET have always been inconclusive - wish this would end already.
We have an open ticket with BSA about supporting SSL.
Please let us know if anyone is having any issues with LET (other than the search which is still disabled intentionally for a little whilte longer).
There seems to be a bit of a issue when changing avatar, it looks like the upload failed until you go to another page... Caught me out a few times when trying to upload a profile picture.
Yeah that has been an issue for a little time now, Maarten is aware of it and is working to resolve it.
Sounds good, just gets very confusing when you upload 3 or 4 different images and none look to work.
@jbiloh the main thing I see is that if I press the back button on the browser from say here, I go to the main page but it shows I'm not signed in. If I reload the page or go back to the front page by clicking the links then it works fine.
What browser are you using and when did that behavior start? Thanks for the feedback.
@jbiloh I'm seeing this with Safari on iOS 8. It doesn't always happen, and I've only seen it the last few days. (I normally hit the back button over touching Home)
I've had this happening on and off for months as well, except it's Safari on iOS 7.
It could be an issue with the cache. I currently have this issue with Mercury; both Mercury and Safari (usually) don't refresh pages and that's probably the reason why. Chrome refreshes on every "back" and I've never had that issue.
Also, maybe it has already been requested, but a flag option would be nice on the mobile theme :-).

@iceTwy can you stop moaning about SSL, for the umpteenth time they will do it when ready.
I know I would prefer the site stabilising out now rather than them also adding SSL.
Flag in mobile view would be nice.
... no, I won't stop "moaning" about SSL. LEB/LET has been around for years and similar communities (e.g. vpsboard, like it or not) already have SSL enabled/forced.
If SSL has been asked for way too many times, it's simply because the LET staff hasn't been giving indications on when they'll roll it out. Considering it is not a priority, SSL will probably be forgotten if nobody is around to push for it a little bit.
And should anyone have replied to my post, it is the LET staff. Only them do know when they'll be "ready". You don't.
@iceTwy maybe you should go read back through this thread.
You do realise the LET staff and @jbiloh have commented on this, just seems im the guy that remembers it.

My mistake. They have, but only after I asked about the ongoing situation of the deployment. My point remains valid
