Hi all. I am running a gaming community site using wordpress. Due to lots of community members, my 512mb vps is getting sluggish. So I was planning on getting a good vps to resolve this.

This is my minimal requirement:

  • 2 vCPU cores (preferred @ 3GHz as cpu load sometimes jumps to 100% in my current 2ghz vps)
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 512 swap
  • 30 GB Space (SSD-cached - Site php/mysql intensive)
  • 1 TB bandwidth
  • 1 gbit port

My budget is around $40.

  • We could do this for you, though it would be SATA, and we wouldnt allow CPU intensive scripts.

Email us at [email protected] we can have this set up for you now.

  • I don't really know why CPU spikes... I am using a moderate amount of plugins in wordpress.

  • Please check our latest offer thread: http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/34319/256mb-10-5-yr-1gb-40-yr-2gb-7-mo-kvm-ssd-raid10-jingling-hitleap

I'll throw in the extra 10GB SSD.

  • As your website is consuming 512MB RAM so that you should consider VPS with 2GB RAM now unless you will be making same thread after some time :)

BTW if $40 is your monthly budget so you can easily get a small dedicated server in that budget :)

The budget is for semi-yearly or yearly :(
Site is currently consuming around 300 mb memory after optimization. I feel the main problem is query execution time, which might be disk i/o or cpu...

Our offer is a yearly price.

  • I found this https://billing.chicagovps.net/cart.php?a=confproduct&i=0 from one of the scrolling ads in LET. $4.17 for 6 months. 2048MB Dedicated Ram 80 GB Diskspace 2TB Bandwidth 100Mbps Port 2xIPv4 Address SolusVM/OpenVZ. Not sure what would be the price after though!

well, that where it takes me when I click on the ad.
I guess you just need to fill-in config stuffs and click to Add to cart.

well "right click" is not working with the Ads showing right side of the LET. you can check that. I had tried that already, however I am pretty sure it is taking there only as I saw the source of the link.

  • An example would be ServerMania's permanent ad, which has this as (one of) the possible URLs that it generates when clicked:

    @GoodHosting @Mahfuz_SS_EHL (fyi)

Did you try the smaller ads? For some reason right click is not working, It would be something like "stats.buysellads.com/click.go"

I have pasted the source of the Ad (from Chrome debug). Anyway, I am pretty sure it is a working link only, we had similar type of links (eg: recent VPSDime offers), which will directly take us to config page.
