    I was just looking at my VPS and I think it should be noted that the template VPSDime has for CentOS 6 Minimal (64 bit) is very minimal. Pretty much everything is disabled/uninstalled. If your like me, and like to keep track of errors and /var/log/messages, you will notice that its not there. To enable it, you have to install syslog by running yum install rsyslog as root.
