I tried to grab one of those KS-1. Everytime I see an availability, it leads me to fill in registration details before I had the chance to buy one. Wth. Is there any workaround?

You can start an order for an instock server so you have a login and pre-filled order information. And your server should be held for you while you do verification.

I used Paypal with the same email and IP and didn't have to do any verification.

Does anyone know what is the url of the website that allows you to monitor kimsufi stock by email ?

I saw one a few days ago (on LET ofc) and forgot to bookmark it and now i am lost ...

Edit , nvm found the site - http://kimi.nwwebsites.co.uk/

All you had to do is look one page back. :)

Yeah , sorry about that ...I did not refresh the page (so did not saw your reply) and posted the same link again , thank you so much ...

Was searching google and LET , when i had replied to the original comment a page back ...

  • It's fine. The topic got quite big too but it's mentioned at least every 2 pages from what I've noticed, if not even every page.

  • Got a Ks2 in Gra with 2TB :)

  • What's the spec of the 142sk7?

  • 142sk7 has 2TB HDD, 4GB RAM and the Atom D425 CPU, at least the one I got. Just grabbed another KS-2 about 10 minutes ago with the normal KS-2 link from the home page, and I got 2TB HDD, 4 GB RAM and the N2800 CPU.

My KS-2 purchased 8/10 suddenly went down. Still pingable but get connection closed by remote host after trying to SSH. The server status on kimsufi shows "OK", but their own monitoring tools report started reporting 0 load, 0 CPU usage, and 0 RAM so obviously something was wrong with the server. It seems fine after a remote reboot though... And nothing in logs to indicate what happened.

  • Anybody here ordered a KS-3 recently with 2TB HDD?

    I second this question.

Got one a week ago for some teenager who wanted to make a gaming community. It came with a 1TB HDD not 2TB. Hope this info helps! :)

  • How hard is it to get KS-1 server? Is it even worth trying..?

Someone on a torent tracker I'm on mentioned that this happened to them in the last day, and when it came back up the port was upgraded to 1gbit in/100mbit out

Ask him to take a speedtest and post a screenshot or it it didn't happen.

OVH started upgrading some old 100 Mbit switches (mostly in RBX3 and a few in SBG). They are doing it /24 by /24 and it will take a long time to complete since they're upgrading just a handful of /24 each day. Check out their travaux site for details (the "Switchs"-tickets in Reseau Internet et Baies)

I think that's the same as this (just updated a few hours sooner.)

ks-1's hardware doesn't support gbit, and OVH is currently upgrading RBX1-RBX4, in order, so you should get it on your ks-2 soonish i believe

it says for ks1: "Integrated Intel® 10/100/1000 network connection"

    There is your 1Gbit

However the current KS1 offer is not N2800.

Some people got a KS1 with N2800 often, so it depends.
