Well that's a hefty dose of anal warts.
@XTServers that being the case, I appreciate the offer once again, but it's too risky a proposition; it's entirely possible that through no fault of your own, you'll be unable to pay the bill one month and I'll be left in the shit.
anyone got it?
someone should already got it, but my france order on 7 July and bhs order on 8 July are all still in progress,,,
I'm also waiting. "In progress" status
Still waitin' on it.
@Nekki If you will use it for backup or anything legal, I have 1 to spare.
I don't think he wants to use someone else's server.
They have a new website up it seems, looks pretty nice.
that site has been up for france for almost a month now
they are probably deploying it for the rest of the languages/countries.
I appreciate the offer bud, but I'm not so desperate for one that I can't wait and I intend to hang onto it for a while so I don't want to impose on someone else for such a period of time.
From http://www.kimsufi.com/uk/community/ ..
I don't think Kimsufi have ever guaranteed bandwidth rates.
As you please
The i5-3570s is by far the best deal on Kimsufi (since they removed the Haswell, lol).
I dont really understand the fascination of getting a dedi for $7 that's barely better than a VPS
Ditto. The only advantage I see is the dedicated element of the offering (no potential for troublesome neighbours on the node or a nosy provider poking around with your stuff) and the 100Mb/s unmetered port. If you want storage you can get 500GB @ VPSDime for $7 with 2GB RAM.
Free ddos protection also.
I agree. I have two KS-4 in BHS for my sites. Can't go wrong.
SYS-IP-1 is a better deal http://www.soyoustart.com/fr/serveurs-essential/
only 10 EUR on top, but you get so much more in pretty much all aspects of the server.
And from the second year you can renew at a nice discount, making it even more preferable.
While it's true 10 Euros is not a lot of money, and the SYS-IP-1 is definitely a better server, that small amount of money does make it cost 50% more than the KS-4 -- not such a small amount proportionally.
Plus there's the additional 40 Euros for the setup fee.
"My kimsufi is perfect for streaming my illegal films"
http://www.kimsufi.com/uk/community/
It is fucking wicked for that in all fairness.
Not that my films are illegal, obviously.
Yeh, ofcourse.
I'm quite serious. The only films I could be bothered to upload so I could access them anywhere are films I love and therefore own, lovingly ripped from my own physical copies.
your own physical copies... of a copy?
Can max out the CPU and thrash bandwidth/disk with no complaints from the host. The 100Mbps unmetered port which can easily push >20TB/month is useful too.
Also had >500 days uptime on my last Kimsufi - haven't yet experienced anything like that from a VPS provider.
I suppose, but I do like to think of them as digital copies of the physical copies.
In the interests of fairness, I don't own most of the anime series I have ready for streaming, but that's not my fault, if they'd release any more of the recent Macross stuff in the west, I would buy it all.
Anyone got the server delivered yet? (from two days ago)
Nope still waiting on it.
I didnt get the server ordered in July 7 & July 8.
they both in "In Progress" status for days. i dont know what happened.
Still waiting
What's with people waiting I've already had and cancelled two of these cheap ones. CPU kinda sucks. Kept the 4GB Atom N2800 for about 2 or 3 billing cycles now.
