US: Kindergarten (starting age 5) & 1st-5th are elementary, 6th-8th are middle/junior high, and 9th-12th (ending age 18) are high school.
Sometimes 6th is elementary, sometimes middle and high schools are (at least partially) combined into secondary, sometimes elementary is split into primary, blah blah but that's the general layout.
