Ah,sounds not good.I don't like install Java only for install a VPS's system.
I have good network speed but slow disk speed.
Looks like quite a mixed result
Some have a good disk speed, and bad network.
Others have good network speeds and bad disk speeds.
Probably 10 LETers doing the benchmarks at the same time? Let it rest for a few hours, then try the benchmark again.
While I'm not directly saying they are bad I'd stay away from them. If you are really interested in Czech based VPS (with a decent network) look into WEDOS.
@rds100 But then all at the same time again :>
Have you used Hukot ever ? wedos 4.40€/mo vs 1.77 €/mo hukot does it makes sense for you ?
I've never been a Hukot's customer before (only read reviews and heard things). Check the prices again please.
VPS Hukot.net - "Klídeček":
Czech network is good:
France and other EU +/-:
I/O is super.
So where exactly is issue with this host then or it's just about promoting another host you actually use and because of that personally like more? I may try them too, just not now.
I like finalhosting.cz and castlegem .cz vps too! Hukot will be my 3rd .cz vps now and I hope for similar experience as with first two. Time will tell..
I'm not EU people, but their billing system still need me to pay VAT...
Already sent a mail a hour ago,but no any reply.still waiting.
Dude, its Sunday no work today.
Care to read ?
Haha,maybe.
"Doesn't seem to be deducted" is a valid reason to send E-Mail and complain about.
WEDOS for example does remove VAT for non-EU customers.
They just answered my mail which was sent 1 hr ago. So apparently they do work
I'm not trying to promote anyone. I guess it sounds like like I'm trying to promote WEDOS, but I'm in no way affiliated with them, expect being their customer couple months back.
I was trying to help out the guy who ran into some issues with their site and anyone who might be interested in another good quality provider.
It is nice that they give you /64 ipv6 block.
For those who've slow network speed, it's probably due to low memory. You simply need to edit system config.
Well explained here:

received reply from their
Nah, those settings could affect the ability to go over 200-300 Mbit, but when the issue is that people only get 10-15 Mbit, tweaking memory settings isn't going to help.
Sorry.. but can anyone point me to any suitable tutor for newbie like me?? This is my 1st experience using KVM.. I need help.. how can I enable tun/tap?? there are only a little tutorial for KVM out there..
Run 'cat /dev/net/tun' and if the output is '/dev/net/tun: File descriptor in bad state' which it should be for KVM, then you are good to go.
Okay, I've purchased another VPS as well and did a test:
Without:
With:
What do you think now ?
For me it only improves about 1MB/s
Damn Spirit, you made me buy one. (benchmarks to come)
Your tests are completely in line with what I said. Applying the TCP stack tweaks will let a high result become even higher (as you got 14 MB/sec -> 41 MB/sec). But you were originally replying to people with these results: http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/537136/#Comment_537136
And suggesting to "tweak your RAM" to fix speeds like these (~600 KB/sec) is very silly.
Which one would be better privacy wise? That would be probably a good way to choose the best one for a VPN use, isn't it?
(In that case yourserver.se doesn't give any information about that and I don't understand cz... maybe someone can help?)
Anyone know how long it takes for them to install the OS?

Ok, sorry, I thought that they'd probably the same speed as me and my comment was not for @trexos exactly but for others as well.
